I don't understand your statement.
Why would you get half the PCO ?
Why wouldn't you get the entire PCO if the certificate is already tied to your order ?
I am banking on the full PCO plus the $3980 price drop when mine comes in....
My Premium 4X came in early last week but I informed the dealer that I will not be taking delivery since it wasn't eligible for a tax credit. I already have a job 2 2021 Premium 4X but wanted to upgrade to the 2022 model that converted to a 2023. With the conversion, I had a $8500 PCO that Ford and my dealer had confirmed. When the new of the price reduction came out, my dealer informed me that with the price reduction and the PCO, I can now take delivery that would he equivalent, if not better, than the tax credit. They provided a deal worksheet that reflected the new msrp for the Premium 4x plus D&D plus tax, license and registration. From this, they subtracted $8500 for a net out the door price of ~$58,000 (after $2k Options rebate). The $8500 price rebate was going to be applied at the point of sale so no waiting for a rebate check. The total included the protection package. The good news is that it appears you should get the full PCO. The bad news is that I am still unable to take delivery because the value of my 2021, after 10 months of ownership, has plummeted and I am only getting offers in the $40k range. The loss from this car would just offset the great value I would get from the 2023. I am still trying to figure out how I can make this work, but it doesn't look promising. It really pains me to not be able to take the 2023 delivery....for now.
The main purpose for the post is to confirm that the full PCO seems to apply on top of the new lower MSRP, at least from what my dealer was offering.
