I had a GT Line and your comments are spot on. The whole car felt "Kia". I really, strongly, aggressively preferred my GT over it and I ended up trading it in for another MME. Others will definitely disagree but where the mustang feels like well built vehicle with a higher stance, wider room, more cargo area small SUV...the kia felt like a car...and not a 60k one.Pretty much exactly this. The EV6 GT is fun, and performance wise eats the GTPE for lunch, but inside it “feels” like a Kia to me. Just a little cheap.
The Tesla M3P, to me, isn’t fun, but performance wise eats the GTPE for lunch. And it’s cramped in there. I know it’s not a direct competitor, but it’s what I’ve tried.
The GTPE does soooo many things right, but the mid to semi high speed acceleration is pretty lacking. And Ford did all these “track based” adverts. I feel like we wouldn’t have been as disappointed if the called it the GT Special, and not played up the “take it on the track!” thing.
