Glad I have the Lectron adapter then. 1200 miles in to our trip and zero issues. Charging here at a Tesla Supercharger in Ogden, Utah. Heading for Bryce Canyon today.

My bad adapter #2221 has a build date of June 6th, 2024.

Received our adaptor last week in September. Same label but smaller number to the right is different. Yours reads 1.90LB/086KG, mine reads 1.90LB/.86KG. Same build date of 06JUN2024.

Part number printed on adaptor is 1434343-20-D

Have not received a recall email. Have checked in spam folder as well.

Here's my serials, both arrived within a week of each other and both of the inside labels say 6 June 2024.

Ya know, it's possible that date refers to the date the part number label was created, and not the date it was made.

They both have the same part number ending -00-D. So I think they're both affected. Mine which hasn't been recalled (so far) ends in -20-D.

i was 20xxx and received my adapter yesterday, but did not get an email today. can't tell if it means i have a different version or their systems are so poorly synced they don't know i have one

part number on the back is: VRK9Z-10E805-A 1X, manufacture date sep 25 2024

On the label of the foam bag it came in, or on the adapter itself?

Mine has no build date on them. Just a serial and a part number (that doesn't look like the one you posted).

You will have to wait for the replacement and take a look at the return tag - should say which one needs to be returned.

A made in stamp like most products would probably help.

A made in stamp only satisfies idle curiosity, nothing more. It won’t help with the real issue in the slightest.

Or yes, announcements from the company itself doesn’t sound like a rare concept.

Well considering Space Karen fired the entire PR Department years ago, that’s never going to happen. Not for this or any other Tesla screw up. Tesla is a very secretive organization in general. Someone could tell you but they’d have to kill you afterwards. ?‍

But 1k a day, hey, only another half a year for them to finish just Ford.

Better than 2 years. Demand would be lower if Ford charged ala GM as well. People are annoyed cause their free shiny is taking so long. And there have been alternatives, they’re just not free.

Most folks within the June recalled group haven’t had issues either. Plus, Lectron had a recall of their own. There’s no such thing as a perfect adapter.

I'm kind of annoyed about this. I have a Job 1 MME and my adapter was scheduled to ship in June, then delayed to July, then to September, then to October and now November. Why would a Job1 car be so far down the list to get the adapter?

Because you signed up for your adapter later than other people.

Adapter shipments are made in the same order as the reservation for the adapters were made. Unless you’re a Canadian. They’re adapter afterthoughts apparently.

Same here. I just received my adapter and I did not receive the email. I wonder if that means my adapter is okay to use?
