I hit up the the Ford chat agent for an update and got this:
" I see that your vehicle is currently in transit. The vehicle has been received by a carrier at a ramp location. It was received at Ramp 6R, in Richards-gebaur, MO on Apr-23-2022. It is expected to leave this location between May-02-2022 and May-08-2022. However, an ETA for dealership delivery has not been listed. "

That location is about 15 miles from me in southeast KC area. So close....
I got the built email on 4/8 and shipped on 4/9.

We head out of town to visit family 4/30....come on, please Ford, let me take the new ride :)
So close! Would be amazing to start seeing some deliveries to our group this week!

Tracking another Mach-E that's headed to my dealer from the 3/21 build week-- it's now at the local railyard waiting for the final truck ride-- it was bayed in KC 4/11 and dropped off at Norfolk Southern for the trip east on 4/15. So it appears the train ride from KC to NJ is ~ ten days. Here's hoping that timeline is similar for my vehicle, which would mean getting the car in about two weeks. We shall see...

After going months hardly seeing a Mach-E, I've suddenly seen three driving around town the past couple weeks-- including one that seemed to have gotten lost down my tiny dead-end street! Not sure if I am just paying more attention, but I'll take it as a sign!

Anyone else get this email?

So I put a deposit on a dealer ordered Mach-E, built on 4/5/22. Not sure if dealer entered on their back end that I'm soon to be owner. Email makes it seems like, "hey get ready for your mach-e"

I just used online chat to get the status of my Premium from batch 5184, shipped on 4/12: "I see that your vehicle is currently in transit and arrived at Junction Point in Laredo, TX pm Apr-19-2022,. It is expected to leave this location between May-24-2022 and May-30-2022."

Mine arrived there on that date too. I will check with Ford chat again tomorrow or Wednesday to obtain an update. It has stayed at Laredo, TX junction point for 7-10 days, (on average) per other build week threads. It may be transitioning in that time, but it shows Laredo, TX in their system.

Also, I think they mean that's the anticipated delivery time frame at your dealer, not when it leaves.

Man the chat folks are really bad at reading estimated delivery dates off the VVR. It would take a few years to arrive if it took a month to go to the next location each time!

Anyone with a 4/13 ship date seeing any movement past Laredo? Asking for a friend.

Ford Chat says my last status was 4/21, and they couldn’t pull an estimated delivery date. I did get a railcar number (I assume CSX), and when I used the automatic CSX tracing system it had no status.

If you ordertrack status still says "ASN" for vehicle status and "Pending" under shipping information it is probably not yet received in Kansas City, which would mean it's still on a KCS train. Did Ford Chat give you a location at all? Mine was at the end of the line at the International Freight Terminal near Kansas City for at least a couple days before it was offloaded on the 22nd (vehicle status switched to picked). Since then it's been waiting for a truck to get to the Norfolk Southern railyard for further movement east (for you, you'll probably be moved onto a BNSF or UP train at a different railyard). I'm getting the sense that Kansas City is a bit of a bottleneck, with some cars moving through faster and some moving through slower. I don't think my estimated delivery date of May 3-9 is achievable unless I get moving out of Kansas City soon!

By the way, KCS often uses railcars from other companies (mine had the initials 'AOK'). I'm not sure if there is a public way to track any of their railcars other than the locations we have gotten from chat... Scratch that, see below for one possible way to track KCS.

I’ve apparently been stuck at Laredo since the 19th. Unless it’s the last scan and not actual vehicle location. I’m hoping we’re on our way to KC.

I don't think there are any scans between Laredo and International Freight Terminal (outside Kansas City). It seems like at least some folks on this forum may have figured out a way to contact KCS via phone for a more exact location... Here's a thread where somebody posted details: https://www.macheforum.com/site/threads/01-03-22-build-week-chat.11959/page-126#post-398642
