well although i have had modules for a few days and a tear tag for 2 days, the ford order tracking website still says "in production" and ordertrack.app says the same thing. the dealer is not being helpful with any specifics. just told me it can take 4-6 weeks to be delivered after production.

There are a lot of folks here hoping to get their cars this year to get the $7500 tax rebate (i'm in the same boat). Has anyone actually been able to verify that Ford has not yet met their 200K EV cap and their vehicles still qualify for the rebate? Per my understanding, the 200K cap still applies to vehicles sold before the new tax law kicks in in 2023.

Short answer is the tax credit is definitely still available until 12/31/2022. The 200k cap does still apply for this year, but the old tax credit phased out after the cap was hit. The full tax credit would still be available for 2 quarters after it was hit, then 50% for the next two quarters. They didn’t hit it in Q2 and last I heard they would it it some time in Q3, meaning the full rebate was guaranteed for at least Q3 and Q4. I never heard when they actually hit the cap since everyone stopped caring when the cap was removed for 2023.
