So are you saying my car is a "job 2" car and because of such, there are no updates for it yet?
I think you might be confused about what this thread is in regards to. Some of us have software, the same software that the dealerships use, to perform MANUAL updates to the vehicle. In addition to the software, there's also hardware involved. These are not (yet) OTA updates and no one here has any idea if or when they will be OTA. This thread is in regards to the trouble we had running updates on the MME including the GT/GTPE versions of the car using this manual method.

As a side note, the dealership won't perform these updates for you without direction from Ford to do so or a problem with the car and we have no documentation that it exists for the Job 2 cars. So asking them to perform these updates will be futile.

Hang in there, OTA updates will eventually happen. We Hope

The ABS update disappeared from the list today. I'm guessing Ford removed it since they realized it was bugged. I'm not hopeful we'll get a fixed update for a while...

Just checked, they just added ABS for my Dec FE (not going to try it yet)

That second APIM entry is for some kind of repair, and should not be in the regular update list, maybe it should be in Guided Routines. The others are still FUBAR.

So weird. ABS was removed for me - though I did do the update several days ago it hadn't disappeared until today - yet you guys got ABS.

I wonder if Ford released the ABS update for the wrong vehicle build dates.... It was supposed to be released for Job 1 cars but was instead released for Job 2. What the heck is going on at Ford???

They need someone who knows what they're doing to manage their software development as a whole. I understand it is a bunch of different teams but someone needs clear cut direction for all of these teams on development, testing, and deployment. It blows my mind this stuff is happening.

Looks like ABS update is back for Job 1 cars, I thought they cleared it since the last 1 was bugged and wouldn't clear. As I've mentioned a few times, my dealer tried to install it about 12 times because it wouldn't clear lol. Hopefully this is a slightly updated ABS version so it at least clears from FDRS when installed...

I would seriously wait several weeks to do any more updates. I'm not very confident in them right now... Warning to all.

I'm going to get my hands on a VCM later this week to see if I can get the IPC update to run...but I'm not hopeful that will even work.

I’d gladly loan you my VCM3 but I think 4100 miles is a bit too far for you ?

Appreciate it hah. Just wish I could get mine that I ordered in March. I don't understand why its taking so long but I'm getting $300 off retail so I guess that was worth the wait for me? :p Helm/Rotunda is saying 60 days or less now so I assume I'll have it soon?

This begs the question, why is Ford already fragmenting these software updates? Is there a hardware difference between Job 1 and Job 2 vehicles? It's only going to get more confusing as more job runs across model years are added to the mix.
