Yesterday I received a big thick mailing, dated December 2022, for this. It's the HVAC update, which my 2022 already received. Tells me I can go to the dealer until 11/30/23 for it. A duplicate of the mailing is in Spanish, and a full page showing both my VINs, because Ford goes off state title records and doesn't realize I sold my 2021 6 months ago.

Never saw this in FordPass. Big waste of money that they cannot tell that my car was updated on 10/29/22 OTA, but I guess it's good that Ford is making sure everyone knows about the HVAC update during winter.

This isn't inherent to Ford though... everyone does this. Heck, I still get stupid mailers from a Honda I sold a decade ago! Even though I fill out the form saying I don't own it, they just leave me on! My Mercedes used to get mailers that weren't even properly filtered by VIN! Hey, here's a recall for specific VINs. Call the dealer, your VIN isn't a part of the recall group. Cool, freakin' waste of paper.

I just cannot understand it. All this stuff costs money, and a good amount on the mass scale, you'd think they'd get it together with all the penny pinching they do over stupider stuff.

I got the OTA HVAC update. Then I took it in to Ford for the 16k km service, and they said the HVAC update was showing as outstanding, so they performed the update as well? They did update the BlueCruise maps. Expiry now April 13, 2023. I was hoping to get the new Sync update at the Dealer, but not so lucky. I was happy to use my remaining FordPass points on the initial service.

Also got the mailing today and got all excited till I looked it up, was done in November. During the day especially a sunny one does well below zero for sure -5 to -10F anyway, roof helping. At night below zero doesn't do so well, going to try a longer remote start after a meeting in town as an example. Fortunately we haven't had much of the cool weather for a bit now. Looking forward to 4.1.2.

How do you look it up? I tried both logging into my Ford account online and also looking in the app. The app seems to have something from Nov 11, but when you open it up, the screen is blank.

CSPs are listed in their own section in the app. As has been pointed out though, some bulletins and recalls may take awhile to clear out for your vin so an entry may be listed even though it was "recently" addressed.

Curious. My app doesn't seem to include a Customer Satisfaction Program tile / icon. Is this an Apple vs. Android app thing (I have an Android).

I don't have that either, got the mailing, but know that I got that update.

Answer- direct mail has a leadtime to pull lists to mail. Update happened after they had already cut the mail file.

I also just received the Ford letter and Ford Pass app is now showing 22B28 as not completed. Was there an issue with OTA 3.6.1?

Not sure if it's related to this update, but my windows fog up pretty badly every once in a while. Happens all of a sudden.
Then it clears after 30-40 seconds..
I read that it can be the damper to outside air that the computer shuts to maintain heat.
Well, it traps heat AND moisture...

I hope FORD is listening and re-thinking this.
Mine does the same thing, too. Sometimes have to go to max defrost for just a bit but that cools the cabin also.
