22S41 & 22S29 Recall OTA Software Are Out

My 2022 is in EA, but it says for the Intelligent Range. I suspect that means it's not for early updates.

Made an appointment for 7/28 to get the update if it hasn't arrived by then. Service Manager looked and says nothing is queued up OTA for me as of today.

Have an idea. Since 22S41 is the first priority OTA (that I can think of) that applies to all delivered MMEs, it would be interesting to have a Poll that gives us a clue about how Ford is distributing the fix.

If I was good at polls, I would include Checkboxes for:

Dropped my 2022 GT off today at Capitol Ford. They did 22S41 Battery Energy Control Software Update. In the notes it said 402 as per fsa 69428. I could take a picture of the work order if it would help anyone.

I wonder if they they are only updating GT and GT PE’s and not others like my Premium. I will show this to my service advisor tomorrow. She told me she wasn’t able to update my car today. Interesting for sure.

My vehicle got the update downloaded while I took a short drive back from lunch. So I parked it in the middle ring of hell (work parking lot) and let it update right away like a good doobie.

All's good other than 1PD turned off, remote start didn't work, preferred charge locations are gone, and sync restarted two or three times during the drive ? from ?.

My Job2 2021 GTPE non-EA got it’s first OTA update last night. Power-Up 2.8.2. Hopefully, more will soon follow…

I went back to dealer this morning and as service advisor was showing me that she can’t update the software someone walked by and said she can update the recall software

I am bringing the car in later this morning to have it done

1PD is awesome. It takes a few times to get used to things like backing up, but its amazing how fast you’ll make the switch.

The only time I turn mine off is when I bring it to a dealer, or in a snow storm.

The hardest thing is switching back to normal driving
