As far as I know I've had no attempts to receive it - don't failed updates display on the software update screen when they fail?
Ford hasn't been very transparent, but the general sense is that the 6.x rollout got put on hold due to some bugs they wanted to fix, and some of those bug fixes are now rolling out via priority updates, in addition to other priority updates like the one that enables plug and charge at Tesla superchargers.
I like to dream of a world where I pick up take out at a restaurant and I can just push the button on my app to put it in the frunk.
Adapters are only available through a customer order only. Dealers will be able to order it in the future but not as of now.
Good to know. My 12V is at 65% right now and I got a message saying this will be installed at 2:30 AM tomorrow. Hope it goes through but I suppose no rush since my adapter is slated to come in May.@elmedico27 Updates the OBCC. Vehicle inhibited for 5 minutes during install and updates two locations in the module. Battery capacity and SoC requirements seem to be relaxed a bit for this update based on what this vehicle reported to the cloud.
Don't know how long the update takes but 65% may be a bit low for the 12v. I know on another OTA I needed for a charging issue I had they advised 80% or better. Perhaps you could charge the main battery before the update installs, which should top off the 12v.
