Mine is in Austell, GA now! Has a few short hops left that'll take a few hours before it gets to where it'll be unloaded from the rail car. Now I just have to hope it doesn't get stuck there. I'll drive the sales guy there myself to get it if I have to. ?

Sales guy also said that Ford "fired" Jack Cooper Transport in the Atlanta area and they use some other company called Hanson and Adkins and they won't give him a dealer ETA until it shows up on the lot. I'll probably just call them myself and be like "dude, where's my car?" if I can't find a way to track it.

I'm still a few days out from picking it up from what I can tell. I've been searching for a way to track the convoy truck once it gets a number assigned and not having much luck. Ford really needs to change this, it's ridiculous.

Yup! It still has to hit Bolton Road scanner, Spring FT scanner, ABLE East Point, and then will go to ground only at Hapeville (right by Airport where my hubby works... too bad he can't just drive it home for me!) before being moved to Hansen & Adkins convoy for the 35 or so minute drive to Newnan. SO CLOSE!!! ?

I lucked out and found an old thread from May where someone in Atlanta listed out all the stops/scanners/etc on the way. Made it MUCH easier for me to keep track.

I got a railcar number from Ford Chat and was able to get an ETA of 10/22 at 7pm to UP's Yermo, CA rail yard. I figure a couple days to get it on a truck and delivered to LA, so my guess is it'll be at my dealership around 10/25.

Hopefully its just automatic the posting, but given the stories on here you never know. I would just say hopefully you have the price in writing somewhere in case.

Normal. They do it to drive traffic to their site and leads to their staff (I assume). Everything you see online for Mach-E at dealers is already claimed.

@Prespari Some dealerships are set up to do that automatically just to drive in traffic as mentioned above. They want to line up another buyer in case you back out. Also as mentioned above, hopefully you have a signed purchase agreement that shows your agreed upon price to avoid the mark up, if they try something sneaky. I found this out the hard way before I ordered my 23 (I have 2 on order right now) when I was calling around. I'd have flown to TX to buy one if it had been available, but the guy said they post them to drive traffic to their dealership in hopes of getting new orders and lining up a buyer in case the original person bails. I went off on him for false advertising since it wasn't actually available. It's a crappy thing to do, but it's stealerships being stealerships. *groan*

I have a signed purchase agreement as well as the buyer's order now that my MME should be here any day. Went ahead and secured financing with my credit union since I don't get anything other than X-plan since I'm taking over an abandoned order (no price protection, only $500 for Ford Options, and a higher rate with Ford financing even with an 800+ credit score).
