My dealer is not being helpful. Last "he saw" it was in Laredo and the delivery window (Oct. 13-19) has not changed. Clearly he's in no mood to look into it more.
That sucks. Chat with Ford on the site or call in and ask for a tracking update. I don't feel bad bothering them, it's their job. Make sure you have your VIN, they will ask for it. 1-800-392-3673

Mine has FINALLY made it to Internati as of 02:00 CT yesterday per the VVR. Now I get to play the 'how long will it sit there' game. ? Still the same 10/20-26 delivery window.

Mine has FINALLY made it to Internati as of 02:00 CT yesterday per the VVR. Now I get to play the 'how long will it sit there' game. ? Still the same 10/20-26 delivery window.
The good news is, it seems like most of the cars aren't sitting for very long in KC anymore, so hopefully its a short wait for all of us

I contacted Ford chat and got an unhelpful but maybe illuminating for others response. Mine was on ramp 6R basically at the station in KC. This was the same update I got over the weekend. The customer service rep clarified this update was current as of 10/7 and didn’t have anything since.

I had contacted the dealer Friday asking about the VVR and got a fairly vague response of “it was in transit and should arrive within 2 weeks”. While vague it was a change in tone from the more pessimistic “hard to tell but eventually” I got in the past.

So where I stand is basically no different from last week, it’s possible the car is still there, it’s possible the car has moved, but what I do know is that my theory of Ford chat usually working with delayed info seems to be correct.

Yeah even the VVR seems like its delayed, I am planning on trying to get it from my salesman here in a couple days and hopefully it has the rail info by then

Thanks for the info. The last one came in on Union Pacific to a railyard near Salt Lake City and I was able to track it using a toll free number. From Salt Lake City it was trucked over to my dealer in Meridian (near Boise, ID).

Sounds like it will be put on the next train soon so maybe I'll get a VVR from my dealer by the end of the week.
I wish mine was with yours, heading to SLC, and then it's just a few miles to my dealer. Unfortunately, I think I'm somewhere in between Laredo and KC and will have to wait.

VVR this morning showing Received at ramp 6R Richards-gebaur, MO. I'll bug chat later tonight to see if there's any change. So ready for the next rail car number. Hopefully it'll be on one of the lines that are trackable by the automated system via phone call!

Mine is moving along rather quickly, it left Conway, PA yesterday around 1pm. If my train symbols list is up to date there is a train direct from there to Wilmington, DE. If it hasn't arrived there already it could be offloaded from the railcar in the next 48 hrs or so.

If the trucking overlords smile on me I could possibly have it next week.:D

My delivery estimate on the website just pushed back from 10/9-10/15 to 10/22 - 10/28. So I think the stagnation in KC is real.

Called the Ford 800 number thanks to @minders nudge. Still showing as in KC, but off railcar. Not listed as in Convoy yet, but delivery window still showing by Oct. 19. She said last update was yesterday, but was vague about what that update was.

I just had a weird update from the live chat. So my delivery date got pushed a week to 10/22-10/29 so I messaged chat to ask if there was an accompanying update. They told me my order now showed as “shipped convoy to ramp 6R Richards-Gebaur” with an accompanying Jack Cooper Transit number.

My window sticker says RAIL. Also, my order was marked as location ramp 6R at Richards Gebaur since 10/7. So I asked for some clarification if they meant the convoy was shipping TO or FROM Richards Gebaur since the car has supposedly already been there for a week and if my order was now being Delivered convoy rather than rail. They unfortunately said they had no further clarification beyond that update…

not sure what to think lol.
