As of yesterday 12:48CT, Shipped Convoy with Jack Cooper Transport with a convoy number at the Richards-Gebaur location. I looked it up and it's about 820 miles from there to my town, around 13.5 hour drive. Curious if it's actually on the truck coming or if it's just being moved to a different train. Still have the 20-26th delivery window, but wonder if it'll show up early. Heading to Toronto tonight to see a friend for the weekend, so that'll be a good distraction! ?

I had the same update as you yesterday and it delivered to southeast Michigan today.

spoke with dealership and things seemed like they may be ok: they’re letting me wait until Tuesday to pick it up (due to work schedule), accepting x-plan, and reiterated I’d get whatever the better incentive/price/APR is whether it’s my March order or October delivery date.

Congrats, should be there right around scheduled time! Mine is still stuck in the "aging in KC" phase. my salesman sent the VVR, but only the date part without tracking info....

Hopefully you're not stuck there forever!! Think I might try to get my sales guy to call Jack Cooper Transport to see if he can find out when it will arrive so I can get things in order. Really hoping it doesn't get here while I'm gone this weekend. Don't want them to do something stupid like wash it and swirl the paint or charge it and dent the fender!

Well that gives me hope, maybe mine will get on a truck too instead of having to go via rail, it seems like those that get on the convoy get there much quicker

I pinged my dealer for the first time. He says only that it’s in KC. I’m still seeing 10/22-28 in my Ford account for whatever that is worth

Thanks for the info. The last one came in on Union Pacific to a railyard near Salt Lake City and I was able to track it using a toll free number. From Salt Lake City it was trucked over to my dealer in Meridian (near Boise, ID).

Sounds like it will be put on the next train soon so maybe I'll get a VVR from my dealer by the end of the week.

Just confirmed with Ford chat that mine is still in Kansas City and, based on the railcar #, has not been put on the next train that will take it to the final train stop. Delivery ETA is still 10/21 - 10/27.

Mine is in KC also (Richard-Gebaur, ramp 6R). You would think ours would be on the same train headed to SLC; however, your date is a few days earlier than mine.

Trip to the dealer went really well. Trade in value was average so decided to go with their offer and be done with my old car. No hidden fees or surprises.

That was honestly my biggest fear. I had an order sheet from them dated 12/1/2021 when I placed my order but it was not signed. I had sent a couple specific emails after the price bumps and they assured me that I had nothing to worry about that they always honor the order price and use Ford's price protection. Having read a bunch of horror stories on this forum I was still worried. Everytime they slide a piece of paper to sign that had pricing numbers on it I double checked to make sure all the prices were correct.

I can obviously only speak to my experience but Apple Ford in Shakopee, MN was perfect. The price was just as ordered, they automatically took off $500 deposit, they had taken off the $325 Park Assist that was removed in the 2022s, and there were no add-ins that that they didn't clear with me. In fact, I let them put a $300 brake pulse system in that they recommended just because of how smooth the process was and I was feeling generous to them (note I read the studies they quoted claiming how much safer the brake pulse module was and their sample size was 9 accidents, lol).

Other random notes from my order pick up: the car was charged to about 80%, they had fully detailed it and no plastic remained inside, the software appears to be fully updated, there were 18 miles on the odometer, they let me put $3K on credit card for some free points.

Well, despite not getting a call yet about our Mache being at the dealer, we just sold our Mazda on FB Marketplace for $2K-3k above what Driveaway, local dealers or trade value were offering. So, that'll pay for our frivolous ceramic, practical tinting, and a few other accessories .
