I have seen it in the forum somewhere, dont know where but I think theres lots of threads on price protection. Your dealer needs to file for it and get a rebate from ford

some dealers are more willing than others to do this

As of Saturday my Mach-e was reported by chat as last location being Ramp 6P, Kansas City.
Today they told me it was: Shipped Convoy- Convoy #1362727741 (Jack Cooper Transport).
Is there a way to track this? Seems like truck transport from KC to North Carolina would be unusual.

@Donnieboy I got it from my sales guy, but Ford chat would have that info, too.

@MustangBarry It's probably the same as mine. They used the Jack Cooper Transport company to move it to a different rail yard so it could go on another train. I had that status a few days ago and now it is on a different train headed to GA. At least I can track it through the automated line with the new train. (I posted earlier up in this thread with tracking info once it gets on a new train after Mexico)

Picked mine up today, easier experience than I expected by far and dealership was very pleasant.

Paid MSRP. Got $1,000 off for doing Ford options, $500 for my deposit, something like $1200 for x-plan. Paid $999 for rim/tire protection. Did ford options for 48 months, 1.4% interest rate so $1572 interest paid over 4 years. Basically ended up net neutral between interest and warranty once the incentives were taken out.

Also gave me what I was looking for regarding my trade in.

Did you establish X-plan when you purchased the vehicle or did you bring it up later? With Options, do you then have a balloon payment at the end of the 48 months or will it be paid off? Any other "hidden fees" or warranty items you had to tell them to remove? I assume the usual doc fees, licensing, etc.?

I basically put down $45000 up front including trade in, have a $101 monthly payment for 4 years, then owe a balloon of roughly $25000.

With x-plan the doc fee is capped at $100. You might want to look into that and get the overcharge refunded.

I’ll check that out, honestly it was hard to follow the random price increases and decreases and I kept focusing on the final number, though with the delivery fee seemingly gone Im tempted to just let it be.

Congrats! Yeah if the delivery fee is actually gone thats much bigger than the doc savings you would get.

Well, time to update this. I think there's three people that have reported their MMEs as received? I am sure those still in Built status have Shipped, but no formal confirmation from the members. Today is the last day of my original delivery window. No news yet. We stalked the dealer lot on the way home yesterday just in case, and nothing. And Cyber Orange would've been easy to spot.

Just did another chat with Ford - there has been no update to my status in 9 days. Tracking still shows location as Internati, MO. ETA is still 10/21-10/27, but it seems unlikely that it will be here by then. I guess it could still get here by the end of that window.

It seems that cars headed out to the Rocky Mountain area are stuck in KC. My date is 10/25-10/31 (SLC). I imagine the train takes 3 or 4 days (?) from KC to SLC. If they don't move soon, I think our delivery dates will get bumped.

Finally got my answer... mine is back on a train, but at least it's Norfolk Southern so I can check on it using the automated line. Ramp 6U in Muncie is my last status as of yesterday. Still the same delivery window 20-26th.

Editing to add some humor... my pony is riding the pony train. The logo for Norfolk Southern is a thoroughbred. ? Meet the Thoroughbred

Surprised I didn't see a single MME in Toronto this weekend. Maybe it's because I stayed downtown and didn't go anywhere other than the airport? Saw lots of Tesla, as expected, an Ionic or two, and two BMW i3's.
