My wife and I finally picked up the car today. Our buying experience was somewhere in the middle. The sales person was great, but can't say the same for the finance department.

After requesting the itemized bill, we discovered that $5000 worth of accessories were included by "a honest mistake". We also had to ask about the $500 deposit made at the time of ordering to get it included in the down payment. I believe we would have overpaid if I wasn't being meticulous with the numbers today.

In the end, we had x-plan, 2.49% APR and $2500 Options rebate. We took the offer of 4 year/60k miles extended warranty, prepaid maintenance and yearly paint sealant for $50 a month over 4 years. I will have to do some research to see if all that is worth $2400. We just wanted to take the car home at the end.

I just got the time to purchase email - my car must have arrived this morning. How long did your dealer take to get it ready? When I followed the link using x plan, the price was adjusted $275 higher than if I didn’t enter the PIN…odd. How much was your plan discount? Mine shows a purchase rate of 3.9%. I’ll have to check out Options. Not sure if I want to deal with a balloon payment in 3 or 4 years.

Thanks! We picked our car up yesterday because my sales person was off on Mondays and Tuesdays. You know and they know the car is there, I would give them a call to set up the appointment.

I had the same issue as you and found Ford's webpage to be useless. The x-plan ended up being a $895 discount for me.

According to the balloon payment addendum, instead of paying it in full at the end of the term, you can refinance it for 36 months with the same monthly payment in the contract. I asked the finance guy if it is the same APR and he said yes. In the end I didn't see any downside to the Options plan over a traditional loan so that's what I went with.

Yes, the red looks great! Same color I ordered mine in. Haven't heard anything in the last few days - hopefully something soon.

My dealer has been getting cars every day all week. I think the Roper Utah yard has been backed up as you previously mentioned. The email system is nice - it notified me at 6:30 this morning. I texted my salesperson - they didn't know it was there.

Just got a VINView update that it's been delivered. The Ford website doesn't reflect this yet and no call from the dealer either - but it probably is there.

Through the help of @emersonsdad and his visibility into BNSF railcars, my car has arrived at the Richmond, CA rail yard, and is in "pending pickup" status, according to the United Road website (Richmond is about a 3 hour drive by truck from my location). I'm expecting the car to be delivered in three to four days, based on my recent tracking of cars delivered to my dealer. This crazy journey's nearly done! I'm elated.

Emailed the dealer about the VINView update and they confirmed that it's there. They're going to get the car ready and I'll pick it up either tomorrow night or sometime Saturday!

I got the email from Ford saying "complete your Mustang Mach-E purchase" (the Ford website also is now updated) and I went through the process as far as I could. The pricing appears to be what we agreed on except for the X-Plan discount. There was a place where I entered my X-Plan PIN, but it doesn't appear to be reflected anywhere in the pricing details or the price itself.

I was also able to select Ford Options for the financing with a 3.9% APR and a $500 rebate - I've read on here and in other forum threads that some got better rates and rebates, so wondering what I'm doing wrong there. Anyone have insight on that?

You need to complete this at the dealer. The Ford website is not designed to handle different values at order time and delivery time (get better Ford!). The rate and rebate you're seeing is the current one, not your rate locked one. The xplan pricing is also likely calculated off incorrect values.
