Android Widget for Mach-E [Less Complex]

Hi Ken, maybe you can help your former student figure this one out...

I have 3 fords and all 3 were working in an older version (F150, Mach E, Maverick) that stopped working in I think October. I figured I'd check back again if the API stuff opened back up because I'm having LVB issues on my F150 and wondered if that is preventing my OTAs.

Anyway, long story short, in these late January builds I can add the F150 and the Mach E, but the Mav says "unable to retrieve vehicle status". Even in latest build from play store (Jan28).

Wasn't sure what you meant about "strikethrough VIN" not working? I just want to easily monitor my daughter's Mav since she's at school 3 hours away.

Shall I get a log and send?

Yes; open an issue on GitHub and upload the logfile right after you try to add the Mav.

"Strikethrough VINs" means that the widget doesn't recognize the vehicle model so all app features may not work. It should work for Mavericks though if it used to.

On my full size widget the vehicle photo is not displayed when selected, just the logo.

I have noticed that the door lock indication is always off on the large widget and always on on the small widget.

Also curious, would it be possible to add interior temp? I use the widget to monitor the car when my dogs are in there in the summer heat.

Love the widget.

Good catch. I'm not checking that status at the moment. Next version.

It is but that raises the question of where to display it. The widget's real estate is already pretty crowded. I also haven't found data this anywhere in the public API documentation and I'm reluctant to add new features if they won't be portable to that...

good timing for me on this! i had to charge on my way home on a trip today and it worked great. updated every 15s or so - didn't really track it but it was frequent enough for my needs.

the DCFC charts look pretty good too:

i didn't grab the SoC chart. the charging session kinda sucked (EA signet 150kW unit) but useful data to see - especially if a session goes even worse than this one.

Once it sees you're charging it's supposed to automatically refresh every 30 seconds. But looks like it does actually work.... (for someone other than me. ?)

Next version will show a message if there isn't any temp info, instead of making you guess whether the app registered the tap...
