I wonder how that car was able to ship without? Either a transfer from another state or the option code was deleted at time of order. If we have the VIN we can check and see what the window sticker says.

This plate thing is whipsawing me back & forth. Just when I resigned myself to having the car arrive with the plate holder installed, I see this.

Yeah looks like they have special pull ... this is at least fourth or fifth MME with this dealer. Most so far at a single dealer as far as known....

This one is just their 3rd so far for this particular dealership location. The other was part of the same auto group but a different location.

Do we know if any of these cars got recalled temporarily returned to Ford for quality checks and modifications? If so, that might provide insight into the delays for the rest of us. (And if not, why not?)

I know they do because when I went to take my drivers test at the DMV in Dallas they wouldn't let me as I had a souvenir plate on the front of my Mustang.

I think at this point I'd drive to Dallas to take it, naked is good.

Can you locate the VIN for that car?
I cant remember. Does Texas require front license plates?
