I sent them an email to revoke access as apparently there’s no way to do it in the app. The company is ev.energy
Same thing - they are using your credentials and the API to wake your car.

BTW it is pretty interesting that Hyundai diagnosed and realized this same problem with its Ioniq 5 and put a rate limit on server pings per hour for its cars, and they also cut off particular third party apps they knew were misbehaving. Hyundai found that some apps were causing thousands of pings an hour to its cars and their LVB charging routine could not keep up with the drain.

Pretty sad that, after 2+ years of the same thing happening to Mach-Es, that no one at Ford has figured out how to limit server pings.
Let's be honest, Ford's software engineering is more than 2 years behind the times

Yes. It was a new program in my area offered by the electric company. I guess I learned my lesson. Ford roadside wants $95 to come jump it. The car is less than a year old. Is that normal? Once they jump it will it charge at that point?
Your electric company is what killed your 12V. Change your FordPass login credentials as soon as possible so they don’t have access any more. ??

As @scoopman said, get your own battery charger to charge your battery. Ask a neighbor if you can get a jump in order to open your frunk so that you can get to the 12V if you don’t have another 12V battery handy. ??

I think there’s plenty of blame to go around on this issue. The root cause is the software that’s continually waking the car so that it’s draining the battery. The secondary cause is that the OEM (in this case Ford) is allowing so many consecutive pings in such a short time. The utility is at fault for writing moronic software. Ford is at fault for not having reacted to this on their server side and just taking to banning accounts that have allowed this sort of access. Pure stupidity all around! (Surprised to not have seen that last sentence from @RickMachE . ??) ??

I have roadside coming to open the frunk and get the 12V working. Once the cars on I assume the HV will start charging the 12V?

HA!

My utility works WITH Ford to reset the times. It's basically a "DO NOT CHARGE" for 2 hours or a "PLEASE CHARGE" for 2 hours, which they create by changing the schedule and max %.

As we said earlier, MAYBE. You will be able to put a meter on the battery and see it charging.

They unenrolled my car from the TOU service pretty quickly. They referred to it as a Hyundai which is interesting. Lol

Cars on but it says service vehicle soon. Tech says it takes at least 30 min to charge and to leave the car on and it should clear. Side view mirrors also oddly wont open. I was able to drive the car and I’m letting it stay on. He tested the battery and said it was at 14 and appeared to be charging. I just got the error attached as well.

I know this will sound odd, but you probably need to disconnect the 12V battery for 5-10 minutes and then reconnect it to get all the modules to boot up properly. Removing all power to them get them to start from a clean state. (It shouldn't be like this, but sadly it is.) Once that's done, see if you continue to have problems. It is possible that the TOU app had nothing to do with the issues you're experiencing since I think that alone would unlikely cause the HV charge fault. If the car is still behaving oddly or throwing errors after the 12V battery disconnect/module restart, then you'll need to take it to the dealership. Good luck, I hope it goes well for you.

Took it to the dealership just to be safe. The error cleared after turning it off at the dealer but the ford pass app still says power train error. They’re going to look at it anyways as a precaution and while they’re at it look into that L2 charging issue I’ve been having where it starts and stops over and over before it charges. So alls well that ends well I guess. I really appreciate everyone’s guidance and help during this event. I love the car and miss it already. They stuck me with a Ford Escape loaner so it’s back to 2 pedal driving and gasoline. ?

Eye-opening story and kudos to the knowledge of folks here who advised you. My gut feeling since purchasing my car has been to steer clear of my utility company although I had originally thought of calling them with some questions. After reading this they never will EVER know I even have an EV ?
