I just got a shipping label today, order placed exactly 7-days ago. Doesn't say the item has shipped, just that there is a label.

For me, it's fine, I don't need this FOB in a rush.

But they really should list their inventory as "Ships in 1-2 weeks" instead of "In Stock" if that's how long it typically takes to be shipped out.

So, I just ordered the keyfob (today) and just got the letter saying that I would get a 2nd fob free of charge from the dealer. For anyone who received a second fob, did it include the frunk button? Or is the standard MME key?

Ive had my Mach e a year in February and have opened the frunk.......maybe 3 times !
What are people putting in theirs that requires a the purchase of a fob ?
I have debated putting my ex in there !

Using our frunk more often! Haha. Mostly I wanted it so I could open the frunk while walking back to the car with my groceries.

The 2nd Fob free will be identical to the one you already have in terms of buttons. However, if you want to program the frunk button fob to the car yourself, you will need two working fobs to perform that process. So claim your free one and get it programmed before starting anything else.

Prepare for the process by having all 3 keys on standby, I will number the keys with their description then refer to them later in the steps.

1. Original key fob programmed by Ford
2. Second key fob programmed by Ford
3. New (or used) key fob that is not yet programmed to work with your car

I have a 2022 that came with two kwys. How do you tell which is the "original" remote?
