Hey everyone! I am new to the group here. I joined because I am in the market for a MME. Live in southern CA so most likely going to get the CA Rt 1. But… since I have joined this group, I have noticed that there seem to be a lot of issues/complaints with the vehicle. To be fair, I currently drive a Jeep Cherokee and there are certainly ample issues/complaints on the Cherokee forums. So I guess all I really am looking for are some good positive experiences. What do you all LOVE about your MME? Any SOCAL owners? If so, which model did you get and how is that working out for you. At the end of the… are you all happy with your purchase? Thanks in advance for any comments (helpful, sarcastic, or otherwise)! Be safe out there!

It's one of the best cars I've ever owned. And I've owned quite a few including Tesla, MBZ, Lincoln, Maserati, BMW as well as other Fords, Chevys, Honda, Toyota and Mopars. I plan to keep the MME as long as it runs.

Florida, I can say after six months it is a keeper. Love the car.

Cars come and go, Explorer, Tacoma, Escape, F-150, 06 Mustang. They come and go.

This car is in with our 62 C10 or the 67 Mustang we had. The type of car that in 20 years you can understand why the owner does not sell it.

I am happy I have the frunk divider in my garage. In 30 years those things are gonna be like hens teeth. Along the lines of a 64 with a generator.

Best car I've ever owned. No exaggeration. Problems? A few glitches, nothing resembling serious. Annoyances? A few more but nothing serious. PAAK? Works perfectly most of the time, but a fob is just as easy to carry and more reliable.

All forums, including this one, are filled with people that are looking for solutions to their issues with the product. That creates a somewhat skewed view of the overall problems with that product.

With all that said, this is a first year model of a brand new design., There will be issues.

I absolutely love mine! Never been a fan of Teslas. Never had an EV before, and now I will probably never buy another gas vehicle moving forward. Some owners are experiencing issues, as you’ve been reading, but not all of us.

No regrets and couldn’t be happier!

UK Owner here, had mine since May and absolutely love it. New EV owner, so I have nothing to compare it to other than ICE vehicles. but the car is friggin awesome. The FordPass app could do with some work but other than that I have no complaints.

It could be one of the best vehicles I have ever owned. But its not. A few OTA updates and it could be one of the best vehicles but there are issues that have been here since the vehicle launched. They have not been fixed and I am now having doubts if they will ever be fixed.

Whenever the day comes where we finally get a legit OTA update that actually fixes one or two of the issues and desires of the MME community then maybe I could say "I love this car!"

Right now there are a lot of things I like about her but she is an Extremely Annoying car to own!

I like it very much and it's my first electric vehicle. One thing I can't get over is the braking, there's a "brake coach" to teach how you how brakes should be applied. Whenever I want to brake hard, it just doesn't stop.

Does anyone know if I can switch from D to N when coasting to stop? Would that help to brake in shorter distances?

So people will ALWAYS complain more than giving something praise, just the way it works.

That said, the current state of the MME I would not recommend the car to a friend. Current state, it has way too many bugs and issues. Add the fact that the majority of dealers have no clue how to service them. And on top of that, basically any part you would need is back ordered due to the world wide shortage. It’s just not a good time to jump feet first into the non Tesla EV market. Tesla’s service absolutely crushes Fords in every aspect.

I still enjoy the car, and I’m sure it will only get better. But when paying 50k for a car, we should not have to wait years for it to operate the way it’s supposed to at release, there is no excuse for it.

Find a safe place devoid of other road users, and try it.

My guess is that Neutral will cause your stopping distance to be significantly increased compared to Drive, just like in any gas car with an automatic transmission. I expect Ford would program Neutral to feel a similar way in this electric vehicle.

I love my MME! It's cool to look at, fun to drive and comfortable. Not to mention I don't need to stop at gas stations.?

I see from the picture on the wall you're in Glass City. Never thought I'd say it, but I miss Toledo. I lived in the Monclova area for five years before moving out to CA. Enjoy the sweet ride and some Tony Packo's! But not together, unless you got the Interior Protection Package.

NO I hate it, you can buy my RR FE at MSPR + 5K ADM + my PPF add-ons. DM for Price :p ;)

This forum as many others are filled with folks who are here just to post their aliments, lurk or troll. New owners usually post a new thread right after delivery and document their experience, drop off the forum after a while. New owner threads die quickly and the issue threads stay very active since they are more interesting to read. The other active threads are the delivery delays and the new GT's which are starting to show up at the dealers.

The MME is the EV of the year, enough said :)

Welcome to the forum, many happy buyers here, some folks have experienced issues for sure, but they are not a common thing.
