Even better, here's a pic. At it's widest it's 4" I used the carbon film from RVINYL, six months and still holds beautifully with no lifting. If they didn't send you a squeegee use an old credit card to apply, it reduces air bubble issues. As I recall I wiped the area down with diluted rubbing alcohol beforehand.

btw, nurse here too, retired 3 years ago, 30 years ED, CVICU, Behavioral Health, Jail Clinic, PACU

Thank You @zvez. That photo will help lots of people I’m sure. I’ll get mine cut and apply tomorrow. Supposed to be above freezing. Thanks for all you did in your career. Enjoy retirement, when you can pee any damn time you want.
I did 10 years of ER and will hit 10 years of critical care transport / flight in a few more months. I’m sure I’ve got another 10 years before I can consider retirement.

Can confirm that 3M 2080has way better adhesion on this plastic than VVIVID+ Premium film.
@MachEGTPilot If you’re going to try it, go with 3M.

In the old days, door bottoms had carpet at the bottom to catch scuffs and to use to hold the door open with your foot.

Yes, also in the old days you had to crank start the car. And light the headlight lamps

Naah, my Blazer has painted steel at the bottom of the door. Then again it’s 1950s technology designed in the ‘60s and manufactured in the ‘70s. C#@vy for you. ???

I'd really like very much if manufacturers would stop using this 3 or 4 inches to make it more difficult to get my size 12 shoes into and out of a vehicle.

They're too big, not often used, get in the way.

It’s not that they are too big. It’s that they are too small to be useful. You cannot put a drink on there which is what it should be used for.

If you guys think these are useless on the Mach-E, you'd really hate what BMW did on my M3... for owners of this car, we tell ourselves it's a "Driver's Car" and so you don't need to have any such comforts.
