Not just you, I was just thinking the same thing today. My app has become very unreliable this past week.

Check out the iOS or android widgets members on here have made. They will tell you that info. It’s not real time, but it’s as close as real time info as Ford will give you.
My interpretation of the "release note" is that it only fixed the PAAK setup routine (which perhaps failed for some people) but not PAAK itself. I Hope I'm wrong, because I'm still disappointed that I often have to stand next to the car for several seconds and press the door button multiple times before PAAk is recognized (unless I unlock my phone on approach).Well, let's see how this does. So, do we need to remove and re-setup PAAK to get the reliability improvements? And this update still doesn't fix the issue in iOS if you're using the zoomed display option. Start button is so small you can't use it and you lose access to the trunk-open button.
I experience the same thing.
Yeah, I have that app installed on my phone but the data is so delayed sometimes that it isn't useful. I'll look at it and it will show me the status for an hour ago, so I click on it and tell it to refresh, it says it will in 5 seconds. Then when I next check it, it shows me the status from 2 hours ago. I love the app it just isn't useful in real time.
Yeah that’s all fords system has. The connection to the car is not constant. It just checks in occasionally.
I would love this feature. So many times paak walk away and even key in pocket and the car doesnt lock when i walk away
I don't think you should need to re-setup PaaK. My iPhone auto updated the app and this evening when I walked to my car it started displaying the welcome lights while I was about 10 feet away (only phone, no key in my pocket). I had no problem opening or driving the car either.
