Try this:Went out to the car this evening with key in a faraday bag, couldn’t start the car, nothing. Opened and closed the door , tried 5 times, made sure FP was open. PAAK was useless. I could have entered passcode to start the car but taking key out of the pouch was easier.
I stopped somewhere on the way home and put key back in pouch . Went into the store, came out and PAAK worked fine.
will try again tomorrow.
1. Use the door keypad and get in the car.
2. Try starting the car - no key found
3. Turn Bluetooth off for 2 seconds and turn back on. Wait 15 seconds or so for the car to connect. Start car - no key found.
4. Remote start the car using FP. Press start button. Car starts.
Sometimes the car will start prior to step 4, but it always starts if I do step 4. Always. @DevSecOps has also found using FP to roll all the windows down does the same thing as remote start. I like remote start because it heats/cools the cabin while you are sitting there.
