Looking at the config of my '23 MME Premium Ext Battery, it has 2 = MTC ENHANCED_MEMORY.

Not sure what the differences are.

Neil, I have a 2021 Job 2 and it works perfect. You need to change TWO lines in the HCM

734-01-01 xxxx xxx1 xx-- Change the last digit in the second set to "1"
734-01-04 00BC 1612 Change both the first and second sets of digits to "00BC 1612"

So, would this make the high beams gradually turn on and off, instead of simply on and off like most vehicles?

Basically yes. They will gradually turn on (2 seconds) but the turn off is about 1 second. This is when it is in the auto high beam setting. If you use the stalk to flash your high beams, it will be an instant on and off.

I think a Lincoln or something had this driving towards me once

Kinda nice that it takes a bit to hit the high beams, nice for when they really shouldn't have turned on

Asking the smarter folks in the room. I tried to follow this on my 2021 job 2 GT. And I got a checksum error. Does anyone see what I did wrong here?

The error I received. Maybe I’m supposed to acknowledge the error and write it anyway. But I’m being a chicken?. First time I’ve messed with Forscan at all and I’m terrified.

That’s normal since you changed the configuration.

That is normal on some configuration changes. Like others said, you should be good to go.

I haven’t seen any Job 1 owners try it. It’s on my list, but haven’t gotten around to it yet.

Do we know when this was an installed feature, where the cutoff is? I have to say that I am not sure how our 22's headlights behave.
