So, I went to the dealership to get my car unstuck (from Powerup 3.6.1 since Nov 2022) and get the new UI. After opening up a case with the OTA group, which BTW, turned out to be a great help, my dealer successfully performed all updates on my car and reported that I am no longer stuck from getting future OTA updates. I confirmed with "Mach-Lee" - Thanks Lee - that the dealer performed all available updates to my vehicle.
However, the frunk button does appear in either Sync or Fordpass. I tested entering my unlock code on the door pillar and then pressing the 7-8 key, and to my suprise, the frunck unlached.
My question is this. Since this function was apparently added by the dealer updates, why doesn't the frunk button show up on Sync and/or Fordpass. Since no further updates are pending, I would have assumed that my car would be in the same state as those that added the frunk button from FDRS. In which case, I assume they have the frunk buttons on the UI and the app. Is that right? What am I missing? Is it because I have a job 1 and need to keep waiting for the frunk button OTA? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,
