I was going to help a friend with his ICE’s dead 12v but a quick search made me stop.
Can you jump another 12v with the MME?

Honestly I wouldn't recommend it. its kind of a PITA to get to the terminals if you haven't drilled for better access and the LBV battery will keep up with normal to sligtly above normal draw but jump starting will draw 400+ amps which could drain you LBV very quickly and the DC to DC wouldn't keep up. If possible I would keep a boost pack or lithium pack with you for jump starts.

Electrically, I think you can - but I would only use jumpers to charge up the dead ICE vehicle, and disconnect before he hits the key. That is what you'd do if you were jumping your car with a motorcycle 0 and the MME battery is about the size of a motorcycle battery.

But - have you ever seen your 12v jump terminals? Some disassemby of the MME required to get to them.

I suspect you'd have to be a really good friend to help out in this situation.

Thank you both. Actually, I already drilled holes to the quick connect terminals so that’s the easy part.

You can't rev the Mach-E to push the battery voltage to 14.x like an ICE vehicle.

I wouldn't.

I wouldn't recommend doing that. First, the 12V battery may not be able to supply enough current for the ICE vehicle, it's not designed for that. Second, drawing that much current may damage the battery. And finally, your EV depends on constant 12V to be fully operational, and if the voltage drops due to high current, your car may malfunction.
I would rather spend $50 on a supercapacitor jump starter, which are available everywhere.

I had the same question a few months back, my other car had a dead battery (ironically an ICE mustang). Got one of those $50 starters from Amazon, worked great. Would’ve paid the same for a AAA visit. It is also great to travel with for charging phones, tablets, etc.

I justdid it to jump my wife's car. No problem at all, except getting the frunk trim off - snapped a couple plastic clips in the process

If you damaged that dinky AGM battery, the problems may not show up for a while.
