With each succeeding charge my Mach-E is showing a lower range. Today it shows 253 miles of range. I have the AWD Extended range model of the First Edition. I realize the temperatures have been a bit lower, but not all that low. We have been having temperatures (during my driving times) of between 45-80 F.

Sounds like Houston and Phoenix have similar temps this time of year? 45F in the mornings and then warms up to around 65-70 F later in the day.

The GOM on my car freaked out on the first 2 or 3 mornings when temps were sub 60F. I was seeing something like 218 @ 90% on the range estimation display. However, since then it has figured out that the temps don't stay that way all day long so it is making a better guess now.
For the last few weeks, the range estimation @ 90% has been in the 232-245 mile range. So, that works out to around 257-272 miles at 100%

Towards the end of last week I changed my charge limit to 100%. Thursday was predicting 264 miles, Friday morning predicted 272 miles and Saturday predicted 279 miles. I drove quite a bit on Thursday and Friday and the range estimation at the start of the day seemed pretty close.

I think there might be one or two other threads on this?

The wisdom seems to be: take longer, slower drives, ignore the GOM, precondition when practical, and move closer to the equator.
The car might like being closer to the equator, but I wouldn't.

Similar temps here, latest charge to 100% showing 262.

Ok, so now have to add @Major and @RockwallRick to the "I hate you list" joining @Kamuelaflyer and @GoFastr. :p

Currently 27, was 12 when we woke up, single digits for lows next week. Range currently 157@90% = 174@100%. That's up a bit.

253?? Wow, you're doing great! I've been floating around 170 for the last month. ?

Fortunately it's just the GOM, which is largely meaningless. It's not the real range.

The lowest I got was going 148 highest miles (75 and 70 mph the whole way), weather was in the teens and plenty of snow flurries. Started at 80% got home with 5%.

So only about 197 miles of range (or 2.2 mile/kW). Going the other way a day before (similar conditions but with preconditioning) I averaged 3.0 miles per kW which is roughly 264 mile range.

Haha.

This morning’s absurd guess by the GOM. Remember, no one said the guess has to be accurate. ;)

This is mine at about 22F this evening. Don't really care, as I rarely drive more than ~80 miles a day.

When it was 20-25F out here a couple of weeks ago, lowest on 100% charge I got on the GOM was 160miles. With temps from 38-45 recently, it’s back up to 200miles… when it was in the 60s I saw 250-280miles. This is just the GOM, never did the math to figure out how much I was actually getting. First edition AWD extended range here.
