Not sure how accurate these are but this is the temps after driving and just getting home. A few hours of heat soak in 105+ (not 130+…)

To me all BUT the DC charger coupler temps look off. This was after a 18 mile drive on the freeway at 70, not leaving it running in the driveway.
Appears you are in babysitting mode. Just can't do it anymore. Trying to fix/understand this car I am done with. Tried to get the charging schedule to work for 4.5 months and then a sobdmc module fixed it. Tried to understand why the 12 V keeps dying on me for a year and then I just left it on a 12 V charger for half a year when parked. A HVJB and BECM fixed it. Not doing it any more just want it fixed. As mach-lee said they are going to try software if that does not work a charging port replacement. How long will that take ?‍♂

Yeah I have a love/hate relationship with some of my cars. This one has been particularly a pain in my ass.

What scan program is that?

Also make sure the car is on, if the car is off the temps could default to a maximum value since they can't be read.

CarscannerPro just under 'all sensors'. It was on for the first 2 screenshots (I can't remember the 3rd it was so long ago (like 20 minutes or something lol))

3 external temp sensors off by 30ish degrees though (or all 3 pids are pointed at the same sensor)

Just got a notice that Ford Powerup 5.1.1 installed on my car. Release notes mention pre-conditioning for DCFC. I wonder if they snuck in a fix for the L2 charge rate bouncing issue. Will test it tomorrow.

The release notes are wrong. It’s just a GWM update.

I am pretty anal when it come to my tech, a/v, vehicles and implements. This car blew my mind. Put them together and bang. Just a few little bugs to iron out ;). Wanted to learn when I could and not down yet. Like the whole concept of how quick and quiet it is and it being green does not hurt my feelings or deter me from just taking a drive. I still have hope the basics will all work someday. It is slower but it is still charging ?

Ok tested it today. Ambient temps in the garage was between 72-75 degrees. Initially it started to charge at 11kw (47 amps) and was steady for 20 minutes. Then it suddenly stopped charging. I unplugged and plugged back in and it went up to 11kw again but this time it would go for 3 minutes at 11kw, then drop down to 8kw for 3 minutes then back to 11kw for 3 minutes and back down to 8. repeated this for about 20 minutes. Then I set the emporia evse to 40 amps instead of 48. The car then ramped down to 9.8kw (41 amps) and stayed that way for 3 hours until battery reached 90% and I unplugged it.

So at least now at 40 amps (not sure why it was drawing 41) it stayed constant rather than bouncing like it did before the update. (yes prior to last night's update it would bounce even when set to 40 amps).

There were no fan/pump noises during the entire charge (roughly 4 hours). Car was completely silent.

I am still having issues with the charging , 40-32-40 -32 etc

i called BEV team they don’t have any knowledge of any issue like this . I started a case with them and will bring the car in for service in 2 weeks and then BEV team will coordinate with dealer.

I don’t believe I have thrown any codes so not sure what can be done but there is no way the car should be doing this and I don’t believe it is specific to my EVSE which is what they started to tell me.

No progress here to date either and have poked my service a couple of times. Seems the lucky ones are reporting a charging port replacement is fixing their slow charging problem. you may be better with informing them it is slower than bouncing around? From reports here Ford is aware of that problem.

Another update, after a few charge cycles, now my car will only do 7kw steady. If I set the evse to 11kw (48amps) it will fluctuate every 1.5 minutes from 11 to 7. It used to do steady 9kw (40amps) but now it won't even hold steady at that rate. It'll do 3-5 minutes at 9kw then drops down to 7kw for 5 minutes then go back up to 9.

It looks like the fans don’t come on unless the battery is above 104° I plugged in a couple of times this week and it has been like 102.3, 102.0, 103.5 and the fan never came on. I plugged in one afternoon the battery pack was 105.5 and the fans came on and stayed on for a good 30 minutes.
It was hot as all hell this week. I have to dig back through other screenshots but I think I win for worst charging above zero.

From what I could tell my wall connector had dialed it down because its control board was nearly 140° which is 20° above its operating temperature.
