Where's your hydroelectric dam to capture all the water that falls out of the Mach e nooks and crannies for approx 4 days after getting it wet?

I swear we could solve the energy crisis with setups like this on all our cars.
I also thought about that, but then realized it won't be necessary as California will likely ban all car washing soon. Sand washing is coming next, provided we don't run out of sand, which is not such a stretch to imaging in our progressive world.

I use a high-powered leaf blower. I dry that area off completely so that there's not even a hint of moisture. Then come back and do it again 45 seconds later to get rid of the waterfall. And then come back and do it again...
Came here to post this....I open the hatch, clear out all the water, then close it and more water starts pouring out.

The Hybrid Solutions line is all pretty good stuff - the wet wax is great as a drying aid. Not crazy about the car wash soap as it doesn't make many suds. The 3-in-1 detailer is streaky on darker paint.
I haven't tried their soap or detailer. I like the Meguiar's soap and I also use their quick detailer spray in between washes if the car isn't too dirty. I have Iced Blue Silver which is a bit more forgiving I think since it doesn't seem to show streaking as easily.

P&S Absolute - multi-purpose rinseless and waterless wash, clay lube, quick detailer, etc. ONR used to be my go-to, but this new product from P&S blew me away.
I personally do rinseless washes exclusively. I haven't broken out the foam cannon in about 3 years. I find that rinseless washes clean the car effectively and safely with no scratches. And I can wash the entire car with about 4 gallons of water.

I agree with you that P&S Absolute is a great new rinseless wash. I love the scent. My only minor gripe about it is that I wish it had a little more color in it. It is hard for me to spot the fill line when diluting since the liquid has little to no color. ONR is easier to dilute since I can more easily see the fill line.

If you guys are looking for a great drying aid, I highly recommend Topper by Xtreme Solutions:

https://www.877askxtreme.com/store/p/paocd0c80bnpb6h6yvd58rjwqstiqr?rq=topper

This is a ceramic topper spray that can be used as a drying aid after every wash. Or it can be used on dry paint to boost gloss and slickness. I have tried multiple drying aids on the market, including the Turtle Wax Hyrbird Wet Wax and TW Graphene Spray. I think Topper is slicker, glossier, smells better, and, at $39 per gallon, is a much better value. For comparison, a gallon of the Turtle Wax Graphene Spray comes out to the equivalent of $140 a gallon!

Rinseless washing for me. Gave up water hose about 5 years ago. I have had Opti-Coat ceramic coating put on my cars since my 2017 Focus RS. About 4 gallons water per wash; little to no water on floor of my garage; no water falls lol. No six or twelve month re-applications either and no waxing. Had all my cars get Gold level awards at numerous car shows ('17 Focus RS, '17 Shelby GT350, '19 Shelby GT350R, and '21 Mustang GT). I had my '22 MME coated in August and got a Gold award at a September car show.

There are some awesome washing setups shown in previous posts!! I used to have just about everything shown plus one item that I haven't seen yet....

An ion water purifier tank setup in line with water source for water and/or foam hose. Just throwing that out there lol.

Ok Howard, since you hadn't seen a de-ionizing water tank setup yet, thought I'd show you mine. ?

Also, for drying the car, I use a dedicated car dryer. Extremely powerful blower which is highly concentrated into a small nozzle (different ones included) and having a very long 30' hose makes it easy to walk around the car. I especially like that you can quickly remove all the water that collects in and around the lift gate glass, under trim, emblems, etc.

Hi Mark, mine was only a single tank lol. I have a similar air dryer that can also be used as a vacuum cleaner. I use it as a vacuum cleaner only. I did not plumb my tank into water system in house; I was going to but then switched to rinseless washing. Great setup.

Well, as much as I’ve enjoyed buying products you recommend Joe ? I might have to hold off since I think it will be a while before I use up the two Hybrid Solutions drying aids I have. And yes, the Graphene is a bit pricier but seems to last a while, especially given that I‘ve only done a few full washes since getting the car in June. It’s garaged at home and work and the weather has been pretty good.

Ok I think it’s high time for a @markboris video garage tour! If you have posted one Mark please post the link again. Also, I think you need to open up a franchise here on the East Coast, preferably in NJ.

Those dual spotless water tanks are not plumbed into the house water system. They are only plumbed to a 50 ft. hose and Karcher pressure washer that sit below it.

This is hands down the best post I've ever seen anywhere on the interwebs. I'll never again feel bad about spending $50 to get car hand washed! ?

(I seriously admire your willingness to do all of this ?)
