No chargers. I looked on PlugShare before we left.
I think I remember seeing chargers at the canton Ikea, they are just on the side of the building
Yes there are chargers at the Canton Ikea. But they are super expensive for Level-2 chargers; not worth it IMHO. Interesting that they aren't listed on Plugshare, however.

Hmm also notable is that plugshare is saying that the DCFC at the Canton AAA just down the road from Ikea has been decomissioned. Next time I'm out I'll have to go check on that (AAA also used to have Level-2's there.)

We turned it off and on, and really leaving it on you still get the slide and swing like a mustang. It does not drive like other BEV. What is your take on the tires? I will be replacing them. When we hit over the 100 mph mark sound was loud.
Have not driven that fast. (there goes my street cred) So far I don't have any complaints. They are All Season tires. I think we all understand what they are and what they can and cannot do. I've been nervous to push it too hard in the slippery stuff.

I didn’t find a way to see the %. Other than it tells me that I reached my set charge level.

Then I pulled it up again to check and there it is. So weird.

There are clearly some things within FordPass app that are finicky. Mine has always showed the percentage, but my odometer reading doesn't show at all. If I go into "Glovebox" part of app it only shows 1 mile. On another thread @Ford Team joined as a member is on the app team. I asked questions regarding the app including odometer and request to set temperature by degree instead of "cool, medium, warm" options currently given for preconditioning.

I live in Ann Arbor and was driving around this afternoon. I saw a RR MME on Washtenaw Avenue around 4:30 or so. I rolled down my window and gave a big thumbs up. Was that you?? (I was driving a white Ford Explorer, BTW).

No that's the wrong side of town for me I'm on the east side. And at 4:30 I was deep into IKEA construction mode.

But I swear, every single time I go out for a drive I get a reaction or gawking from someone.

It wasn't me either LOL mostly because my Mach-E hasn't arrived yet and its Infinite Blue ;)

Of course, since our son is a U of M student, however, you are more likely to see us driving around AA once the Mach-E does arrive ;)

So we’ve seen the pins removed now, who’ll be the first to document a full frunkectomy?
Like an autopsy video?

Wondering if that "center divider" can be removed from the bottom and then the other two pieces reinstalled (less rigid but maybe more package friendly?)

Hope you had a good shop at IKEA. Best of luck putting together. I work in the furniture trade and even I have difficulty putting IKEA stuff together. Will be interesting to know when the gawking gets annoying

You go that fast that often for enough extended periods of time that it's worth it to replace the tires for just that reason?
Cool...cool cool cool.

You have described my situation - house on a hill. My Kona is set at 90% L2 charge because if I charge to 100%, the dash lights up with warnings that no regen is happening. My CMax started the engine on the way down the hill and used battery to run it as a compressor. I wish the software people would figure out that 98% is just a number like 90% is just a number and let me have control over the setting!
My Clarity does the same thing, I live on a hill and sometimes it starts the ICE on the way down the hill. It did it more when I first had the car, and other people on the Clarity forum experienced that. The working theory is that the charging system used the engine to somehow absorb the regen charge that it was unable to accept on a full charge. Recently I did the climate precondition before leaving and on the way down the hill the ICE started.

You can't even see the OBD unless you practically stick your head under the dashboard. From the drivers perspective getting in and out you can't see it at all.

I didn't even know it was there until I stuck my camera up under there.
So, I just checked my 2018 escape and, just as I remembered, the OBD II port is behind a plastic panel on the driver’s side, below the light switch. There’s a small indentation in the panel so you can pull it to remove it, but the OBD II connector is not otherwise exposed, visible, or accessible. I’m pretty disappointed if Ford couldn’t be bothered to put a small piece of trim across the dash to cover the OBD II connector.
