OTA is the preferred method. It is much quicker, although broken up over several updates, the longest one takes about an hour to apply. Dealer will likely need at least 2 days to get the car updated, and that's if everything works normally.
OTAs make me nervous. Infotainment updates no problem. Updating the powertrain modules seems a lot more "mission critical" to me so I prefer those to be done manually by a real person who can read, follow directions and possibly identify when something isn't right. An automated process (like I presume the OTAs use) is really kinda scary to me.

You will. Even when you're not using BlueCruise, the eye nanny is added to the mix once the driver monitoring camera is updated.
I think I pay attention to the road pretty well. I hope it doesn't bug me even when I am actually looking ahead. Is the nanny accurate? Does it only come on if the driver is looking elsewhere?

The eye nanny appears to be very accurate. Seems you can look away for about 10 seconds before it nags you.

It's been accurate for me so far. But if you look at the infotainment screen for a little too long, it will nag you.

Okay. Thanks. No issues for me then. ?

And if so, then I am not as safe a driver as I think I am. :)

Or even looking at the IPC too long, it will nag you.

Update from my dealer. Dropped the car off at 9am today..got a couple of phone calls from them and they mentioned something along the lines of how I needed do something from fordpass app / online. They had the car all day, drove for about 15 miles. Called right before they close to see if I could get my car back and talked to them a bit.

They said the first round of updates did not work because I did not do something on my end via fordpass (wat?). Need to do another set of updates Monday. Idk if they know what they're talking about, I really feel like they don't.

With that being said can someone check my vin for me (may not work, car may be asleep).

Another update from my adventure. Car was at the dealer all day today. Looks like they were able to update everything, but still no BC. I'm on sync ver 358. They reached out to Ford and are waiting to hear back.

Based on your report, here is what is different on the job1 car I updated:

ModuleMikeG's ListCar I Updated with No BC
APIMMU5T-14G676-EJLJ8T-044R30-AC
CMRML3T-3G604-MDML3T-3G604-XH
GWMLJ8T-14H021-EKLLG8T-14H021-EKK
IPCLU5T-10F906-AALJ8T-14C026-AR
PSCMLJ9C-14D003-AMLJ9C-14D003-BA

Having the same issue where I cleared all the updates on my job 1 car but still no bluecruise and looking at this we seem to be on in pretty much the same spot re software versions except for the APIM. I'm on version 21281 rev 244

Mine looks like this:

ModuleVersion
APIMLJ8T-044R30-AC
CMRML3T-3G604-XH
GWMLJ8T-14H021-EKK
IPCLJ8T-14C026-AR
PSCMLJ9C-14D003-BA

Everything else is the same as MikeG's list as well. Wonder what's messing up at this part of the process.

Day 7 update: Still no BC. My car is sitting at the dealer and hasn't actually been touched since the 7th.

The good news: I received a call from Ford and have a tracking number. Something was done on the server side to ping my car and I am hopeful the missing update will show up in FDRS when the dealer tech checks my car in the morning. Fingers and toes crossed.

The dealer indicated the job 1 F150's and MME's are piling up for them with the same problem. Because the Squeaky wheel gets the grease, the more this squeaks the faster it will get solved.

The Bad news: Another day buying gas for my loaner. (you really appreciate the MME when you drive something less again!)

The score is still OTA 0 Dealer 0 but there is the light at the end of the tunnel.

Like when you put your phone (AKA camera) in front of it to take a picture. One thing I was wondering before today was how it would respond to my sunglasses. I experienced no issues with it at all.

I really hope they see something tomorrow because it looks like it hasn't populated in FDRS so far

That is the update I just got as well. My Mach E got updated to sync ver 358 last week, Wednesday through Friday. I took it back in today and just got told they are still having problems getting my car to sync to ver 364, so hopefully by tomorrow.

Kinda the same story here.
Spoke with the glass shop at the dealership a couple of hours ago and both glass recalls are completed. They then handed the car off to the Service Dept so they can begin working on the 21B36 PaaK update, the 21P22 Customer Satisfaction thing and 21G01 BC stuff. I don't think they started anything yet. Maybe they did but didn't get very far and decided to hit it in the morning?

They did tell me to expect two days for all the work they had to perform. I guess that is reasonable. Really want my car back tomorrow though....
