I took my vehicle in to the dealer and had them perform the blue cruise (2.5.3) update. It took them 2 days but they claim it was successful. However, I can't enable it. Is there any way to confirm that it is active?

What sync version are you on? It looks like you could be stuck on 358(?) Like a bunch of us

Nope. Yours isn't ready. You would see the Lane Centering with Hands Free.

What Sync version are you on? You should be on 364 to have BlueCruise.

to see the SYNC version, select General, then Settings, then About.

You should also see a "hands free driving" line at the bottom with a date if you have BC

Well.... it looks like Ford but the D in disappointment again. BC is not going to work for you yet. I am in the exact same boat. With one possible exception, it looks to me like the only cars making it through the BC dealer update are EA cars.

I would hold off on going back. It seems like most people are ending up in this same situation. I'd wait until Ford figures this one out.

What dealer did you go to? If you are still at 244 you are a long way off. There have been a couple of reports today that San Tan Ford was able to complete the updates successfully.

What dealer did you go to? If you are still at 244 you are a long way off. There have been a couple of reports today that San Tan Ford was able to complete the updates successfully.

Are you by chance the person that had their car there over the weekend? In the posts by @Hgray and @SnBGC they said the service manager talked about an unsuccessful update on Saturday.

The last step in the instructions couldn't be more clear. The dealership is to drive the car on a BlueCruise highway and verify the hands-free works.

Your dealership didn't do that. They apparently cannot read.

I wonder if Ford even knows there is a problem with the BC update?

A lot dealers are running through the procedure and closing the car out in Oasis even though BC isn't working.

It looks like the tech updates everything they see in FDRS, and thinks they are done. I know is says "test" but I wonder how many techs have ever driven a car with working BC to know the difference between lane centering and BC?

mine was definitely there over the weekend (carbonized grey, awd, ex range), but the service advisor told me it was successful :)
