Ordered Extended Range Battery, Got the Standard

Asked again, and again, I was assured I had the extended battery and it was my driving not the car. I didn't understand how my driving usage prevents my battery from having a higher 100% charge range.

The range guesstimate is based of recent driving. You could probably get it to read anywhere between 200-300 miles with different driving styles.

I have a standard range. It’s never said I get more than 215. 240 would be unheard of. Battery capacity is not measured in miles. Do you put miles into the gas tank of your old car? No, you put gas in.

I had a 2021 standard range select awd, regularly got 240-260 miles per charge in summer

Perhaps just a troll as there has been no further response but to be fair some people just do not understand how the batteries work and then to have (supposedly) a Ford dealer confirm they have the smaller battery well I can see their confusion. Then comes the dog pile! Maybe I am being too soft but in this case maybe some education and patience is in order.

Eliminate the problem at the source AND educate: @Ford Motor Company should install a viewport to see the sealed units. That way end users know what they're getting without having to go through extensive dialogue and maintenance activities.
