Sleep Mode

I drove my MME premium with extended battery today and all ok. Weather was close to 80. Battery was about 75% when I parked in my garage. I plugged the juice box charger into car to charge overnight, it won’t turn on until 9 pm when rates go low.

I just checked Fordpass and the car has gone into sleep mode a couple of hours after I drove it. Second time this week it happened.

why does this happen? I believe when it happened a few days ago car did not start charging when it was schedule to. I had to go and start and turn it off before charging started.

anyone have any thoughts ?

Juice net app shows charging but it is not charging adding any KW to car. Fordpass still shows sleep mode

lovely. Will start car to awake and get it charging again. Second time this week. I plugged in after car was drive a while, so battery was warm. but not charging until car has cooled down. I wonder if that is the problem.

Several reports of this or similar issues. Most believe it was caused by some recent update(s). No one has reported a definite resolution yet, afaik.

Lots of people are confusing sleep with deep sleep mode. Sleep mode is normal, you can send any command to wake it up if you chose to do so. It should start charging without intervention but there’s a bug that does cause an occasional delay or failure to charge. Last time I spoke to Ford they refused to acknowledge it. Probably because most people don’t pick up on a few hour delay. I certainly do though.
In deep sleep mode you can only wake up the vehicle by pushing the door button or a remote button.

Definitely not deep sleep mode, just sleep mode

i will give more time next time to see if charging comes back on

Going to sleep is normal. Best guess is something with the Ford servers screws up the charge times every once in a while. Earlier this week my car didn't start charging on time, but it got itself going about 5 hours late. Last night everything went as planned. ??

Juicenet can't show charging if it isn't charging. If it shows amps going out....

Yes that’s exactly what it showed on the screen you have above Which is the third screen on their app, I believe.

The first screen showed it as charging which it wasn’t
