Finally! Thanks for letting us know the TSB is finally updated after all these months!
See what you mean long track record.

TSB 23-2040
Supersedes
TSB 22-2109 March 2022 a low battery voltage condition such as DTC U3003
TSB 22-2069 February 2022 a low battery voltage condition such as DTC U3003
TSB 22-2295 July 2022 also exhibits indications of a low battery voltage condition such as DTC U3003 present
TSB 21-2249 July 2021 vehicle also exhibit indications of a low battery voltage condition such as DTC U3003

I look at the error messages and anyone that has had this car for awhile must have seen most of them? I got the Adaptive cruise control inoperative last time I started driving it. Got out cleaned cameras, power off and on and no more message. It worked well driving.

My car can't be that much different? I would assume some can be caused by other things also but it is good to see one update that may solve a lot of those for some. Wonder if this fixes not a clean boot due to low/reported low 12V? Will this come OTA?

D'oh! I just got the car back from the dealer last week for this issue (pre-collision assist/front camera error). They thought it may have been something they did when they replaced the front bumper (loose sign on the interstate damaged it). They couldn't find anything wrong and replaced the camera.

I haven't had the error since, but am now bracing for it to happen again.

Well- Problem solved- for one day. Just as previous attempts to fix this camera fault the error message came back up within 2 days.
Anyone have the Ford engineer help # they mention in some posts?

They only did updates and said they cleared some codes, going back because I’m getting it more frequent now and they won’t replace any parts unless Ford tells them to

OK- The ford engineer helped for sure- Ended up needing a replacement front and rear camara. THat did resolve the problem. Certainly suggest if you have issues to call in for assistance.
Onto the next issue- Frunk system fault- Service required. This happened after update-
starting to get very old going into the dealer,

Frunk system fault needs a BCM and GFM update to fix. Make sure they updated both of them.

So if I bought my 2021 Premium in Dec '21, should this service be covered under warranty? What are my options? Dealership claims not covered and charging me $1120 plus possible cables.
This after they had the car for 2 weeks and "couldn't replicate" the fault that I literally got again driving off the service lot.

How many miles on the odometer when first sold, and how many today?

As long as the technician can reproduce your concern and there is a warranty fix for it (like this TSB describes), and your vehicle is still within the 3/36 warranty period, then yes, it should be covered at Ford's expense.

Service Procedure

NOTE: When performing the IPMA software update additional modules will receive software updates. Depending on vehicle features, the coordinated software update includes the IPMA, power steering control module (PSCM), cruise control module (CCM) and/or camera module - rear (CMR).

1. If the vehicle exhibits indications of a low battery voltage condition such as DTC U3003 present in other modules or an engine no crank/no start concern, check for OASIS messages for low battery voltage and continue with diagnostics for low battery voltage. Low voltage may have been exhibited previously before the vehicle came in for repair which resulted in U3000:49.
2. If DTC U3000:49 is present in the IPMA, download and run the Reset the Image Processing Module A (IPMA) Learned Values application in Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS) to clear DTC. Proceed to Step 3.
3. If DTCs U2107:68 and/or U3000:89 are present after performing an IPMA self-test, clear the DTCs and only perform diagnostics for U2107:68 and/or U3000:89 if these DTCs set outside of an IPMA self-test. Proceed to Step 4.
4. Is the vehicle an F-150 (non-Lightning) built on or before 28-Mar-2022, Expedition/Navigator built on or before 18-Feb-2022 or a 2021-2022 Mustang Mach-E built on or before 04-May-2022?
(1). Yes - proceed to Step 5.
(2). No - proceed to Step 6.
5. Reprogram the IPMA using the latest FDRS software level. Follow all on-screen instructions carefully to complete all coordinated module software updates.
6. Perform the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS) Image Processing Module A (IPMA) Alignment procedure.
7. Perform the appropriate FDRS camera alignment procedure.
(1). For vehicles equipped with 360 degree cameras, perform the IPMA - 360 Degree View Camera Alignment procedure.
(2). For all other vehicles, perform the IPMA - Pro Trailer Backup Assist Camera Alignment procedure. This procedure should be performed on all vehicles without 360 degree cameras, even if the vehicle is not equipped with Pro Trailer Backing Assist™ (PTBA).
8. Run the IPC-Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) Configuration application in Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS).
2021 Premium Standard

The following conditions manifested themselves on 29 August

• I use my iPhone to unlock the car and turn it on. Doors unlocked, but got the “no key” message when trying to start the car. Repeated the process many times, including leaving the car and re-entering it. No success. Got the FOB and started the car and drove off. While driving, “No Key” flashed on the screen for a few seconds and then disappeared. Car then behaved normally. Parked the car. Went shopping. Opened the car with my iPhone and started the car without any problems. After that, problems.
• Cameras work.
• In reverse, NO alerts provided when approaching stationary objects.
• In reverse, alerts provided for moving objects.
• In drive, NO alerts provided on approaching stationary objects.
• In drive, NO alerts provided for moving objects.
• In drive, alerts provided for stationary objects on side of the car.
• Notified that “reverse brake assist” is not available.
• Drive mode changed by itself to ONE-PEDAL.

I presume these are all software fault issues per TSB 22-2295. Also, do not know if this is connected, but my BlueCruise expired in August.

Thoughts?
