Test drove RWD ER yesterday at Eastleigh was even in red like we have ordered, nice drive up and down the M3, easily found myself close to a ton!!
They had 4 vehicles, one of each option.
We changed our order in Jan to the the RWD ER, build date was 19th April and dealer told us yesterday delivery will be August.

Even though it's the base model it was very pleasureable and didn't feel base. Expectations of quality still met.

To me the issue is range, in this one it showed 98% left and around 230miles.

We didn't at any point miss the sunroof.

I did take a sick bag as my partner has been suffering from vertigo and after the reports of the car being bouncy I thought this would be an interesting test drive! none of us felt any of the wobble issues that some people report. Felt a very smooth drive. The black is lovely.

No bouncy wobble felt at all.

I have never driven an auto before and my partner last drove one decades ago!

I was very reluctant to drive but after she did I had my turn with one peddle turned on.

It was amazing. A fab drive. I took to auto and one peddle in minutes. Very easy to learn.

Worth £37k but i'm not sure about the new £40k price with no sunroof. I think at £40k ish you'd expect a sunroof as a basic item for all cars.

The AWD red ER was in the showroom and I immediately noticed the ambient lights which is a nice touch. Good paint quality but a colour that's not my taste. Partner loved it.

It didn't feel any bigger than the Kuga. Certainly very manageable for us to drive.

The delivery date is just a laugh though. You can't plan anything as it's so up in the air.

Warrington Ford who I would recommend too.

My road test is the 11th in Plymouth- probably with the same cars as you'll see! If all is good I expect an order will go in within a day or so...

Actually got a reply from the FordPass app team. At least they are aware of the issues.

I would have thought that if any UK cars were on that ship then Ford UK would be shouting it from the rooftops. Especially considering they must be aware that they have a large number of disgruntled customers.

I suppose it wouldn’t be the first time that Ford UK have been a bit sparse with information but I doubt it.

M3 "smart" motorway not reached Southampton then? You can't seem to get past 50 from Bracknell to the M25!!

I'll be checking my car GPS location carefully. I've tagged where it is so if it moves more than 6ft I should know. As others have said probably not our route but I'll check.

In other news my odometer is still at 19miles, not moved since the first day. Range has dropped from 274 to 269 but then I wake her up twice a day and see if anything has changed. Tyre pressures change with temp and they store them unlocked, that's all I can say really.

not strictly MME based but can I just say, having this Chat on page-404 is causing me great tech anxiety.. please post some more messages... by brain scans my screen and heart rate and blood pressure are an issue when I see "404" in the tab!! ..... ;-) tech humour... sorry. I've highlighted a few interesting values... Odometer value of 30 must be km then converted to miles. On the App it says 19 miles.

I've managed to now get into remote setup through that new dashboard.

I think I only got most of this data after I linked the Ford Pass App to my VIN and possibly even some of it after activating the car. This kind of makes sense as much of this data comes from the car. Of course It might come from the car anyway and be stored in the Ford cloud but I didn't notice this until @stesir did his great work.
