What kind of fault messages do you get? Do you use it for google maps when you get errors? Or is is amazon music? Or spotify?

I don't even get that far, I press 'connect to Android Auto' on the car screen, it waits for a bit and then says that it couldn't load and sometimes it says can't get a wireless connection to my phone and the car asks to use USB instead. Try that and nothing at all, still the same. If I check the App is says it's connected to Mustang Mach E. Phones connected, I can do all the usual, calls, texts, etc. just can't get Android Auto to work.

I've never used Android Auto so don't know what I'm missing but everyone says that it's really useful so I want to get it sorted.

Sorry, another question for anyone who has taken delivery of their car, and used Ford Credit. In theory I could have my car next week as it's due at dealer this week, so I asked my dealer if we could sort out finance this week. After he spent yesterday afternoon looking at it with his manager, he emailed to say "we have sent the invoice off to ford credit for pay out" - I thought it was simply a case of setting up a new finance agreement like they would for any other new Ford? Or am I wrong?

It is just like any other finance agreement. My dealer treated it just the same as any other car he sells. I just don't understand why some dealers are making mountains out of mole hills and making life difficult for themselves and you.

You need to go to the android auto app on your phone and open settings. You then need to make sure wireless is enabled

Mine came in also on GNJ, and some nice person activated my Ford pass, but unfortunately I can now see it is still sat on the dockside in Antwerp

That's what I thought but I just wanted to check! So frustrating to finally be so near getting the car, and this could waste more time. I'm getting desperate to get rid of my old ICE now because there's been a big spike in catalytic converter thefts in my area, it would be so, so ironic if I fell victim within days of getting a car that doesn't have one!!!

I think you misread what he wrote. The way I understood it was that he had started with 100%, drove for 97 miles and had an estimated range of 233 left. Thanks makes it that he started with 100% charge and 330 ish miles. At 100% last Thursday I had 356 in my RWD ER

Yep - that’s right Graham! When I started the day at 100% it said 340 miles.

I thought with an RWD ER you'd be getting close to 300 range from full?

Yep - def getting more than 300 miles on a full charge. Started today at 100% and 340 mile range prediction. After today’s motorway driving I’m at 70% battery with a range remaining of 226 miles (that would give a 100% range of 322 miles or so based on today’s driving).

I did….they kept coming back near instant saying failed. One I did was stuck on “Pending Activation”….or so I thought. A few hours later I got Success, so was really good timing with one of the drivers.

Took the car out today for the first time since the eCall OTA update and noticed something different.

All the chimes have changed - boot closing beeps, parking sensor beeps, cross traffic beeps sound different (better I think) - what an odd thing to change.

Anyone else notice it? (although if you collected your car after the eCall stoppage I guess you may have only heard the "new" version of the tones)

Depends if "Power-Up 1.3.0" was a collection of updates including eCall #21C16, or was just the eCall on it's own.

When I charge my Mach-E at home it is showing random locations in the log, which are nowhere near my location.
I’ve only had the car a week and therefore have only charged at home so far.
Any one else have this issue?
I’m thinking it could be that the dealership did not do the eCall update.

To be honest I haven't noticed. I'll pay more attention next time I'm in the car and let you know
