Not my experience. The real "gotcha" is that the car is already outdated for an EV.
It charges comparatively slow and the app/software is rubbish.
My biggest issue is the ride quality. It's very bouncy and rough, completely under engineered for the weight. I've done 25k miles and it's a bone shaker on all but perfect roads.
65.5k 27mths, still got my fillings so not that bumpy and I run on F38/R49psi with over half a tonne of tools.
Charges from 0 to 100% in 8hrs overnight in garage.
20 to 80% on DCFC (usually at MaccyDees or KFC) in the time it takes to drain the cabbage & grab a coffee.
The App is the App no worse than the average out there. Got used to what works and what donāt in App and how to work the car as reqd otherwise.
Ford paid Ā£3k towards it because Bojo the liar stole the grant he promised (shock!) so Ford are in credit as far as Iām concerned.
Happy bunny here ???
