Also got this tonight when I was out running errands. I’m on 2.1 and previously had a failed update screen when it tried to apply 2.3, so when I got back to the car and saw the update success icon I was stoked, but alas no 2.3 for me yet.

The script is broken for me as well, first place I went to check for a status update after realizing it wasn’t 2.3.

Same here. Icon tonight. Nothing on FordPass or Sync - still on 2.1.0.

I looked at your VIN and the last thing was Jan 20 the 2.3 came through.

Thanks for checking. This is even more puzzling then. Why would the indicator come back on, if it’s own accord, for myself and others? I wonder if it’s possible that Ford is doing an OTA test that wouldn’t be “registered” because it’s empty? Note that they’ve also changed some APIs recently.

Happened to me an hour ago too! I went from 2.1.0 to 2.3.0 last week. I clicked on the update icon and I just got 2.1.0…. Again. Oh and I got the same issue with the widget!!

I had the same thing happen with like 1.4 or something on my FE. It's just a bug in the APIM most likely. I wouldn't think much of it.

I had 2.3 fail on Saturday and then the mystery update yesterday. Widget inop also.

This morning instead of the text from 2.1 showing when I Inspect my browser contents, I found "You are all set" without mention of a release.

I cut and pasted the release note URL into my browser, and found that it's 2.3. Finally.

I only got 2.1 a few weeks ago. No signs of anything since in the car, FP, or vehicle dashboard (website).

Annoying that they don't give us a simple history log. But they probably get fewer calls/complaints by keeping people in the dark.

Are you saying you ALSO got a notification in FordPass ad well as the check mark on the screen?

Nope. No FordPass notification. I looked in FordPass to see if it indicated there was an update. I found no such indication.

Maybe they were just checking the update status check system?

Maybe we are close to OTA for BC and for many of us a reliable Paak. ~66 days left for OTA availably of BC. Exciting.
