No, I forget exactly what plug it is, but it's a twist lock. They used an adapter to charge.nema 14-50 connection?
Well worth it. It's a beast. Is it a 110 or a 240 in the back of the truck? Would be good to know if waving a f150 down will be worth it?
NEMA L6 20nema 14-50 connection?
Such a ridiculous looking vehicle. This is what happens when someone who's never driven a truck for ACTUAL work decides to design a truck
Did you really have to ask?
Where do we get the travel adapter? One thing we have lots of up here is F150's. May cost less than a flatbed if you can flag the right truck down . In fact I can call a few buddies if close enough. Probably as common as a flat but being prepared is a good thing if it is a $20 adapter.Well worth it. It's a beast.
This seems like it would do itWhere do we get the travel adapter? One thing we have lots of up here is F150's. May cost less than a flatbed if you can flag the right truck down . Just like this steering wheel - that may look cool, but seems ill advised. (I don't think the Cybertruck looks cool).Such a ridiculous looking vehicle. This is what happens when someone who's never driven a truck for ACTUAL work decides to design a truck
That won't work since neither the mobile adapter nor the vehicle will let you limit charging current to 16 amperes. This seems like it would do it

$40 is a little more expensive, but would be super handy if you were ever in that situation and needed the charge from the L6 20 outlet.
Google finger is broken here today but now all here for clarity. That is the new version of EV booster cables and the F150 has it. There has to be someone at this cottage this weekend with a new F150. Problem solved pay for their gas. This seems like it would do it

I agree a non work-truck driving person designed it.Such a ridiculous looking vehicle. This is what happens when someone who's never driven a truck for ACTUAL work decides to design a truck
Yeah, when they charged the Tesla, they just reduced the charging current from the car. I really hope this ability is in the plan for the MME.That won't work since neither the mobile adapter nor the vehicle will let you limit charging current to 16 amperes.
The MME EVSE may be able to charge 12 amps at 240 volts. I’ll try it when I get access. That won't work since neither the mobile adapter nor the vehicle will let you limit charging current to 16 amperes.
I have these outlets throughout my garage. My choices for Mach-E were to either buy a 20A EVSE (charging at 16A, 240V), or install a new ≥ 40A circuit for the included mobile EVSE.
