I use Waze daily.

On a trip, I used the Ford navigation, but have Waze on my screen so it can warn about speed traps and other issues on the road, and switched to Ford nav a couple of miles before the freeway exit or other significant turn.
Oooh, no, couldn’t live with speed trap warnings, I like a sense of risk, adventure and jeopardy ?

I use Ford built in system; I even use trip planner in FP app (yes, used it successfully) and then save it to the MME. I used ABRP to check the first few trips I planned to compare to FP app and built in system. Rarely use ABRP these days. I do use Plugshare to check on charger status on every trip. Once I start the trip, I pull up the traffic alert on built in system and it has worked great everytime I have used it. 10 long trips (at least 800 miles each with longest being 2250 miles roundtrip) with no issues. I got my first MME (2022 select) on 7/1/22 and picked up my second one (2023 premium) on 12/20/22.

As @Teslaeata said it’s pretty much personal preference. I think that all of the map services are fine. I am currently using the built-in navigation system simply because it’s built-in. When they start charging me for it I will probably switch to Apple Maps, which hopefully have preconditioning built into it by then. ?‍♂?

Built Navigator, but there are many inaccuracies on the businesses. For example asked to navigate to a restaurant, it does not exist when I arrived at the destination. It would be great if Ford integrates it with Blue Cruise so it can take the correct turn on the highway, or change lane to prepare for exit.

Built-in Tesla maps have never steered me wrong yet.

Oh, for the MME I use Google Maps if I'm not traveling far enough to charge. I've used the built-in maps on longer trips and they were fine even if not as user-friendly.

I'd be willing to give Apple maps a try to see how they integrate as far as charging locations. I assume Apple maps won't trigger pre-conditioning, though?

I really want to use ford navigation to get the range estimate revision and dcfc preconditioning, but it's just terrible! Makes me want to use Android auto instead :(
Google exclusivley plus they now show ev chargers. Ford nav suck.

I’ve used Apple Maps via CarPlay on multiple cross country trips and found the battery percentage prediction to be amazingly accurate; always a bit conservative which is appreciated.

Waze until I'm about 10 miles out from a DCFC stop. Then switch to in-car nav and tell it the station you plan to stop at. I do not believe the DCFC preconditioning works any further in advance than about 10 miles / ~10 minutes.
it all depends on the battery condition. And for me at least, I don't really care as I don't wish to micro-manage the cabin temp, preconditioning, and know if I have a headwind to make it work.

But some data to suggest 10 minutes may not be long enough if you want to fully precondition your battery. A 12 minute trip in early May to a DCFC charge had the coolant heater on the whole time:

Ford Mustang Mach-E Which maps do you use? 1686851956396

On this trip the mean temperature was 52℉ and the battery temperature was 59℉ at the start and 68℉ at the charging station (lost 1 kWh of energy heating the battery which on this trip was worth 2.5 miles).

On this more recent DCFC charge the coolant heater was on while charging until the battery hit about 90℉:

As I arrived with just 5% SoC, I would much prefer the extra range (in case the EA station was out of order and I needed a backup plan) than the battery being preconditioned. I haven't checked but I hope Ford shares my opinion when the arrival SoC is going to be low.

Does anyone use ABRP with a dongle for live updated vehice data to the app?
Not yet, but planning to. Ordered one but Amazon lost it on the way. Its been pretty accurate so far without a dongle though.

I use Apple Maps. They have gotten better in the past few years. Integration with battery level and charging planning works pretty well. However, routing across Lake Michigan needs some work as you can’t pick the Lake Express ferry or choose northern or southern route around Lake Michigan and you can’t plan to arrive at a ferry at a given time (instead of final destination). Oh the first world problems

Never seen that sort of data, is it in Trips in FordPass app? Any reason I don’t see this? Do I have to have something turned on?

Inside my head looks like that with all the graphs etc when I get home after a 450 mile day out with a couple of public charges interspersed ?‍?

Built-in nav. I’m not fond of google products and CarPlay looks like crap. Also, Apple Maps keeps telling me that my EV is low and I need to charge immediately (and I usually get those “warnings” when my battery is > 80% ?)
My wife made the same comment when using Apple Maps and finally pointed it out to me. The “low battery” notification was actually a low phone battery, not car. Pops up at 20% and 10% phone charge. Might not be what you’re seeing, but just a thought.

Apple Maps mainly. But the nice thing is you can use all of them at the same time. I use Apple Maps to set destination, and put waze on the background for police warnings. If roadtripping you can set the destination charger as well In the ford NAV.
