Getting ready to install a level 2 charger at home. I'm trying to decide which charge cord standard to go with, CCS/J1772 or NACS?

I've got the Ford adapter, so going with NACS seems logical for future proofing. However, most chargers out there have replacement cords so I could change if and when we move to an EV with NACS port.

Comments welcome.

How long until you get your next EV? If the answer is longer than about 3-4 years, then I would get a J1772 charger. You don't want to use an adapter long-term. After 4+ years, you can sell the EVSE and get a new NACS one (or just replace the cable, depending on model) with your next EV.

When I get my next EV with NACS, I plan to replace just the cable on my ChargePoint (they sell a NACS conversion kit):

Your Ford supplied NACS adapter only works for Level-3 (DC Fast Charge or DCFC), not for home alternating current (A/C).

If you go with a NACS cord, you would also need to purchase a Level-2 NACS to J1772 adapter.

EDIT:
@Mach-Lee was already answering while I was writing. Do whatever he says. Seriously.

You can get the Tesla universal wall connector which has both (essentially just a built in adapter)

As noted, if you go with a NACS level 2 charger, you cannot use your NACS to CCS high speed adapter. You could buy a high quality NACS to J1772 adapter, such as A2Z's Stellar adapter, using code FORDFORUM.

Opps, total brain fart. I knew that on the adapter!!

I was thinking along Mach-Lee's thoughts, so I'm going that direction.
