For a windshield there is zero reason for anyone to be inside your car. For the roof, that might be a different story, I've never taken one of those out. Really still should not be a reason to be inside so long as they are using the suction glass pullers.

I will 100% tell my dealer if anything is even scuffed or looks dirty they will be fixing it. I have absolutely zero tolerance for stuff like that.

The A pillar trim usually needs to be removed so the tech needs to be inside the car.
The camera trim and electrical connectors need to be addressed from inside also.

Wow. That sounds like a lot of vehicles. Maybe it applies to all of the US cars manufactured so far? My guess is we will all be asked to take it in to get it inspected and the dealer will decide if either recall applies to any particular vehicle. This is quite upsetting to me.
not all, but a lot. my april build was 29xxx so by now they must be in the mid high thirties.

My June 29th build was 42xxx.
Crazy as it sounds, much like the Power Up versions, the VINs are not sequential. That's why all the bulletins reference build date and not a VIN break.

How can you tell the number of cars built by when? My car was an early April build. Maybe we’ll get luckily and not have to deal with these recalls.?

the vin range, started from somewhere in low number sequence, I don't know if it started from zero but certainly some of the early cars vins I've seen were in the 2k range. So mine was in the 29k range and built late april so just guesswork as to how many cars have been built but the vin number is probably a pretty good indicator.

Hearing stuff like this , I lose confidence in Ford and the car. Shouldn’t happen even if it s a first year model.

Between this and the questionable performance of the GTPE, im worried that I should hold off on the Mach-E for another year, or just go with an another vehicle altogether.

I don’t understand how a company like Ford can put out a car with the number of issues this one does. I understand the need to get it to market but what testing do they actually go thru before they decide to sell it to us?

do They actually care what the consumer thinks? Are we just guinea pigs, like we are for Microsoft and Apple when they release new software?

Are American car companies worse than the Japanese and Europeans when it comes to first year cars?

just sad.

Doesn’t the audiq4 also have a similar roof window? Would love to take a close look at those…

My 2019 KonaEV had so many problems 2 transmissions (GRU) 1 Motor, two 12v batteries, battery cooling fan, Twice charge door, 10 TSBs, and of course the BMS recalls trying to fix the traction battery that eventually turned into a traction battery recall to replace the whole thing.

Yes, there are way more issues with other cars than me using my BuyBack funds to purchase a MME
