So I have notes, and the Sync GUI updates, but I don’t have 1.7.1. However, @breeves002 was kind enough to check and tell me that, once again, my car is in a strange state where it appears an update campaign failed. I need to go to the dealer, which can’t happen until the body shop replaces the tail light that was assaulted by a barking bollard at the Barnes Foundation (evil parking bollard ?)
I hate those barking bollards!

Still reading through the forum posts here but wanted to confirm:
(Premium AWD ER)

DCFC:
80%-90% was at 40kW/h
90%-100% at 36/35 kW/h.

Battery:
Capacity is now 91kW. Up from 88kW.

Range:
Increase of 11 miles. This is more likely due to the 3kW available now.

Brake coach!
It exists now. It comes up as a box on the HUD covering the range & battery percent and tells you how efficient your stop is (how much energy was recaptured as a %).

Handling:
I may sound crazy but the car is handling different under the Engaged mode. Acceleration is the same. But the handling/suspension/steering. Something is different & I like it.

Tire Pressure Monitor System warning.
The Mobile Tech gold me their laptop warned them they needed to use a tool to re calibrate tpms. Decided to drive the car for a minute before they left. Can confirm after a couple of miles (5 or so) the warning went away.

Nav:
Sync's Nav now shows a blue bar at the edge of the HUD turn display. This bar reflects the distance of the upcoming turn/exit.

I'll update if I find anything else. Excited for this update & what it means. Possibly further battery availability/better range calculations/efficiency/etc etc.

The one thing I'd beg Ford for is to let me re arrange the HUD. I drive with my right hand so the speedometer is under my arm. I would rather have the car's lane sensing on the right-most spot instead of my speed.

The Brake Coach and Blue Nav Bar has been there since Feb on my car. Yours just must not have been working correctly.

The handling is something I have been curious about. The shop manual says that it can be controlled by software (even in non-GTPE trim levels). Interesting that you notice a difference. Pretty cool.

New CSP announced yesterday that includes quite a few module updates to address past issues including the hill descent shutdown issue, in addition to other improvements. This seems to be "Mach-E Service Pack 1" effectively, this will fix a lot of issues with the early builds.

EDIT: This update also improves the DC fast charging curve for non-GT vehicles above 80%. Charging rate from 80-90% is now ~45 kW (up from 12 kW), and gradually decreases from 90-100% SoC. This may also include the buffer adjustment to enable 91 kWh/70 kWh usable pack capacity (pending data confirmation).

If you are having the windshield recall done, it would make sense to combine visits and have the updates done at the same time. When dealers look up your car on their system (OASIS) by VIN this should pop up in yellow for affected vehicles. There are also step-by step technical instructions for the technician to follow if they aren't sure how to do the updates. These updates are also available in FDRS for DIY self-updaters.
I’m at the dealership now trying to get this software update. They said my VIN as not in the system to get the update.
My car is two weeks old. I think the other issues had been sorted out when my car was built in August/ September 2021, but I sure would like the ability to fast charge to 90% ! And would like to get better range in this Michigan winter.

update: software updated. Range looks much more 203 miles at 82% SOC, and just charged up at a charge point and although rate of charge dropped a little, was still getting 24kw charge rate at 85% SOC

Thank you for the report. By chance does this fix the alarm interior motion sensor bug? If you toggle that off in settings, then turn off your car and exit the vehicle and then restart the car later, does the setting stay off?

My MachE build date is July 2021. Over the phone, the dealer told me my VIN shows no needed updates. However it charges EXTREMELY slow once at 80%. Do you think the 21P22 update is available for my car?

If you DCFC at about 12 kW when above 80% then you don't have the latest software which should improve the rate to about 40 kW per feedback from people on this post.
