Update...
Just picked up my car this AM. I'm unstuck. I have turned on Automated Updates and set a schedule. Got the Calm Screen button push, the little X next to the vehicle, etc. They didn't need any of my supplied USB adapters or cables. I'm happy to have found a dealer that is up to speed on the EV world.

Waiting for OTAs

What dealer did you go to? I'm only about 2 hours away but I'm desperate to get mine fixed. Did it take the whole day to be serviced or more than one day?

I used Loganville Ford. As I have said, two dealership employees drive MMEs so their service department "ain't skeered" to work on them. They had my car for 24 hours. YMMV

Day 6 Update: My dealer's service manager called today to come pick it up. All set. However, had someone run my VIN yesterday and looks like there are still many updates needing to be installed.

So, to recap, they depleted the 12V battery on their first attempt. Wasted half a day charging it back. Had "their" computer crash so the 2nd attempt failed. Not sure what they have been doing since. FordPass shows my phone is still paired but my charging and departure setups wiped. Mileage has not changed so the follow on updates to get the car to BlueCruise looks to not have been done as they would have had to test drive the car.

Not very optimistic that I will find any changes to the car. Anyone in the Syracuse, NY area have any luck with this fix?

Well, the local dealership has had it for about 7 hrs now and TSB 22-2117 is not going through.

The technician was on the telephone with a Ford Field Service Engineer (FSE) who warned him not to try repeating it 5x or face the week-long lockout. According to the service advisor I spoke with, he was told that there are dozens of cars with this problem stacked up currently (presumably nationwide), and my technician is waiting to hear back from the Ford FSE on the next steps to take.

Since similar scenarios have been reported throughout this thread, anyone here have any idea what was ultimately done to push this thing forward on their vehicles..?

(My guess is expansion of Ford server capacity may be an answer, but that doesn't help me right now... Nor would that address whatever else COULD be problematic)

Update: my dealership was instructed to replace the APIM and program it, probably with Ford FSE guidance. My guess is that they will then try to see if the vehicle is able to properly get OTA updates. If not, I suspect the gateway module will also be replaced. Since my experience could be helpful to some, I'll continue to do updates till this is resolved
That's what they did for me. Worked out fine. They ordered my APIM on Friday, and I had my car back updated on Monday.

BlueCruise activation comes with 2.5.2. The Sync update in 2.5.3 comes shortly after, but it’s technically not required for BC.
My car has been in since Friday installing the TSB and any other updates. My car has been in since Friday installing the TSB and any other updates. I just got a notification that BlueCruise is now available in the FordPass App. I haven’t heard from the dealer yet, but maybe this means they were able to install all of the OTA updates manually in order for me to get BlueCruise?
It sounds like that's the case if you got the BlueCruise notification.

Sadly this TSB doesn’t work for me. Finally tried today and got the wonderful error that it doesn’t apply to my vehicle. So I’m just stuck. :(

Attempting the GWM update one more time while I’m back in FDRS but at this point I think I have to take it into my dealer as obnoxious as that is and wait likely for replacement APIM/GWM.

Day 4 update: car's still at the dealership, along with another Mach-E or two and F150 that are all in for the same fix. Updates keep failing, they aren't sure why. And since each update takes 5-6 hours to fail, they only get to try it once a day. At least I get a rental tomorrow!

it went backward as I now cannot turn on Intelligent CC. Still have dashes for my Sync version and can not turn on Auto Update. However, they did fix a few things like my driver side passenger door can now be opened without having to open the driver's door first and Whisper is now at the top of the Driving Mode list. PaaK might work now but think I will carry the Fob for now. (UPDATE: PaaK is working again!)

Service Manager now claims the adapters they got from Ford last week do not work. Ford put out a list of ones which do work and once they get them, I will get called back in to try this fix again.

Had my APIM replaced and the update happened instantly. Curious thing is that I have the drawing app, but no tic-tac-toe or calculator.

My apple maps now gives me directions in the smaller screen and I have an "x" in the upper left.

Also the Apple maps screen doesn't get bigger when I choose to enlarge but the apps move down further to allow space. I also have "horn/light" features in my FordPass. So I have 2.1.1, but no Tic-Tac-Toe, or when pressing the volume knob, it doesn't enable the calm screen. Not sure if I am missing anything else but hopefully an OTA will set things straight, but it's a huge success regardless.

Hope other's see the light at the end as well!

*EDIT* I see that they fixed the large Format Apple Carplay in 2.3.0, so I will hopefully get that OTA soon!

*EDITII* I had no idea till now that TTT and calulator where inside the note app. Everything is good, I am at 2.1.0 or 2.1.1 for sure! Sorry for the edits, just want to give accurate reports on this.

Is anyone on 2.3.0 or am I caught up with 2.1.1?

the version of PowerUp displayed has very little to to with the exact version of all modules... so you really cannot tell what is in 2.3.0 versus 2.1.x. Since there is no explicit published list of specific enhancements to differentiate versions of individual modules, or version numbers of modules easily visible... you really can't tell

Does anybody in this group have the list of adapters mentioned in this post? My dealer claims he is waiting for Ford to send him the adapters, as he has the necessary cables. Blaming it on his Ford regional representative.
