11/7/22 Build Week Thread for 2023 MME's

Was in Lecheria MX by 11/14
Laredo TX 11/20
MO Ramp 6R by 11/26
and nothing since then
My ETA is 12/3-9

why? (rhetorical why)

I called my dealership today to ask them if they could tell me where it is. Usually I email them and hear back from them 50% of the time. She said she would check. That was at noon.

Interestingly, I have have heard it's in one different places depending on who I talk too. Either Richards-gebaur, MO or Internati, MO. Not sure what the difference is ...

Current ETA is 12/11 in Colorado

well, i can't be sure, it is certainly possible it was just logged as loaded onto the railcar and is sitting there. still, vin view said 12/7 for arrival in richmond.

Yeah, the screencap he last sent me doesn't even show the Richmond information. The last line I can see is that car was unloaded from the railcar at 6R. My ETA was always a couple days behind yours, which is fine, I just don't want to get bogged down at that place.

My MME sat for a month at the rail yard in KC waiting to be put on a truck to Texas.
Once put on a truck I had it in two days !
It like Ford was holding it as a gift to me......I got it on my Birthday !

Internati is for the IFG, International Freight Gateway. All trains to KC arrive there. Cars then get offloaded to the parking lot at RG before going to another gate or car carrier.

For all of the converted order people wondering about their “place in line”.

my dealer tells me it’s not like ordering an iPhone with Apple for pickup at a specific apple store.

the number of allocations a dealership has available to them is a major factor in which order the cars are actually built and delivered.

good luck to everyone here. I hope all our vehicles show up before 12/31/22 so we can have the full federal tax benefit!

On Tuesday my dealer told me that my car was in Birmingham MO. Haven’t seen that location mentioned by anyone here. I’m going in to see them tomorrow to get more info. Anyone know anything about this location?

I'm tracking with Norfolk Southern and for the past few days it has been giving me a status of TOLD/TOLT/POLD (cannot make out) Kansas City, Mo. Has anyone heard this before? any idea what that abbrevation may stand for?

@njb did you push the Activate Vehicle button on the Ford pass App?

I did and it was activated. Unfortunately it hasn’t updated the location since 11/23 on the ramp at the factory. Maybe that’s because it hasn’t left, and maybe because it’s on a covered train and can’t see a GPS satellite? Maybe I should hit the horn button and alert someone…

That's what mine said the first time I tried back when it was built. I didn't hit the restore data option, I just quit out.

No, ‘22s were reduced To a “prep-kit” and not available on ‘23s. It’s also been removed from other models.

My Delivery ETA started to adjust after passing Texas border

Ford chat was never great way to receive updates, My sales guy didn't mind sending me an update via VinView every few days or when he was slow at the office. I believe mine was off loaded in Houston and trucked up from there, but no clue.

Congratulations! That is fast. I was told 40 days for shipping to West of Dallas. You may be right. Cars to Dallas might be unloaded in South TX instead of going to KC. Last time (if I remember it correctly), it took about a month for my MME to come out from KC.
