If remote departure scheduling thru the app still does not work for this up coming winter it will not be good on us northerners. Who needs remote preconditioning at -10F anyway best to go out and set that up in the car when needed.

Departure times still don’t work for me in the app. I have it scheduled through the car and called FordPass support last night and made them make a case as I let it slide the last time as they said it’s a known issue wait for an app update. Waited for app update - done, still broke, please file a fixit ticket with engineering, ?.

It does seem like Departure Times from the App are working better. I have been writing about this for a year. I think they really did fix it.

How do you do departure times from the app?

Just go to the Vehicle screen and then click the Departure Box. You should make sure the App has connected to your car before you set the Departure Time. Keep doing the pull down until it says 'just updated' then set the departure time. If it shows up in the box then you know it set. This did not work at all last year but has worked as expected a number of times the past week.

Interesting. My vehicle tab doesn't have a departure box.

Did not work all last winter November 2022 here but worked flawlessly for 2021. Tried everything sat in the car with it on and sent it through the app did not work. The app just did not work. Maybe we can ask Alexa if it will work after BC 1.3 is installed. The link at the end has a couple of brute force methods to try to achieve what we should be able to do from the comfort of our homes.

They got rid of preconditioning the car all together now? I do not have the latest UI.

Edit: You checked cars apps charging?

In the app it is on the vehicle screen big box on the right.

Months ago I got invited to beta test ver 5. Then crickets...no follow up at all.

Same here. Got all excited to provide some input, then nothing.

We are not there yet so I do not know. I will update my November 2022 thread if it is/is not. It looks like it may be time to try it again soon

Updated Ford Pass and set a departure time and it was saved to my vehicle. Wow some progress here.

That looks to be above my paygrade. You might check your connectivity settings in the car. I assume you can start the car from the app.

Yeah, the app functions fully. Just doesn't have the Departure times option. Not sure, but I think it did have it at some point in the past.
