The only new code I see your car reporting now that I can attribute to this is:

APIM U0121 Lost Communication With Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) Control Module 'A'

Try resetting the APIM. What did you do a master reset for?
So reset the APIM yesterday and again today, still getting that error message popping up randomly going between screens, mostly profile. Any chance you can check my codes again and see if anything might be in queue?

The codes your car is reporting are nothing to be concerned about IMO. Your car does not have any OTA history. Remind me later today to check your car in FDRS.
@Calvinvshobbes You're showing a GWM, so that's good. That's what you need to get more updates rolling.

Same codes are there. Idk what can be causing that, tbh.

@Peyole Keep an eye on this. You can start making that dealer appt. By the time they get you in there, we will know if this fixes the issue or not. I'm willing to bet now that it is the fix.
Thank you so much for letting me know in a post mention. After two years of Unbridle 1PD it is hard going back to using the brake pedal all the time. Though the change from Unbridled to Unbridle a while back still confuses me on why they renamed it. It looks like from the pictures it is coming across as those four updates? So that I have something to bring with me to the service writer do you mind running my VIN so I can print it out? Now if only I can get the OTAs to install as I have been on 6.2 since November. Probably not much I can do about that though.

@avdonr I will be your guinea pig on this adventure though it will be hard to know if it fixed it without a lot of driving.

It will take longer to setup the powersupply and laptop than it will to do these updates. It took me 10 minutes to do all three.

I followed another thread with some folks who haven't had an OTA update since last year.
As far as I can tell - 23-PU0110-RAD-PS was my last in Aug of 2023

While I'd like to have Charge Assist and p&c with Tesla, I'm missing out at all the critical updates...

Wondering if this is a Ford server side issue, or has my car failed at OTA updates?
Drive 1 hr daily and LVB is 80% or more typically.

Any help is appreciated!
VIN 3FMTK1SS9MMA42323

Thanks!

OTA history is below. Nothing has been sent to you in quite a bit.

I would start with the GWM, then APIM, (and see if another GWM, or APIM, or TCU pops up) and then move on to the IPC, the CMR, then the IPMA/PSCM combo, and end with the GFM.

...
So I spent the weekend doing updates on both cars. The Lightning went swimmingly. I had some issues with the MachE. When doing the IPMA, the first time it failed when I had a laptop issue. After running it a second time, it failed to program at the end, and so did the forced PSCM update. I think this is because my 2 day license expired mid-update.

So, how do i fix this? The car seems to operate fine, with no warnings. I'll be away from it until the weekend. is there anything showing in the logs that might give me a clue? Do I need to do a reset?

As @rugedraw pointed out you have no OTA history going back at least 60 days.

Here's the list of available software updates showing in FDRS:

What's not obvious is the current revision of your GWM module which is a very old "-LKB" revision.

I believe that is the reason your updates have stalled. I would call the BEV team and ask them to open a case to determine why your car is not getting updates. I can't see the 'server side' of things, but I know something's not right.

What's been happening with IPMA updates recently is they flash the module packages fine, but fail to do the config step at the end (runs forever and has to be stopped). So re-running the update attempt usually results in the process going very quickly once FDRS confirms you already have the correct software package revisions, and it jumps directly to the config step.

You still have the IPMA and PSCM coordinated updates in your list. You'll have to run them again.

The good news is that's it's also now safe to run the new powertrain updates that were released last Saturday.

You've got the bluecruise 1.4 updates pending, as well as HVAC, RFA, ACM and IPC.

1714695679479-sh.png

I would start with IPC, then the others.

In terms of the 6.14 update, you are also blocked by a pre-requisite GWM update (you are on PAJ but need PAL). This will not show up in FDRS for you, but like the others above, if you send me your VIN I can see about getting that GWM update for you to install manually. Once installed you will be offered the APIM 6.14 update in FDRS.
This is great info! Thanks for that. Question about the GWM update, though. Is this an update that will eventually be pushed via OTA and Ford just hasn't moved on it yet? My biggest concern is being behind on OTAs, not necessarily updating anything with FDRS at the moment.

It should go out OTA eventually, but the core issue is that it’s not showing in FDRS (which is typically a pre-req for OTA). There may be a dependency issue for the GWM that Ford hasn’t fixed yet, but there’s no way to know for sure.

All I/we have been able to deduce is that the 6.14 APIM update is dependant on this new GWM version.

I have a 22 Ford Mustang Select with T/C package. My last update was in November 2023. I called Ford and they performed some troubleshooting. The guy said if it doesn’t update in 2-3 weeks, take it to the dealer. Nothing happened for a month, so I took it to the dealership and they have it for a week now. They just called me to tell they can’t find anything wrong with the vehicle and it’s up to date which is not true. I know there have been numerous updates after Nov. Can you check my VIN and see if there’s any issues?
