Looks nothing at all like a Mach-e and has no resemblance to a Mustang. There’s also no real room for a third row of seats in the platform, although that didn’t stop Tesla. If they make the car look anything like that or abandon the Mustang heritage look, I’m on the one and done plan.

It won't be a Mustang-branded Model E.
It'll be more akin to the Explorer.

So, is this the new E-Explorer? It is a 3 row SUV like the current Explorer. It is too small for an Expedition. Beside, did not Ford delay announce they would delay their E-Explorer so they could expand Mach-E production back in 2022?

Yeah, it's supposed to be an Explorer equivalent although not an Explorer EV per se.

Although the artist's impression looks more like an extended length Mach-E Gen 2.

I certainly hope so. It’s also just an artist’s rendering as well. :)
That too.

Recently Farley talked about upcoming Mustang changes and from the hints that have been dropped, I wouldn't be surprised if the next Mustang Mach-E they produce a 4-door and 2-door Mustang coupe with a hatch. But given the bomb they dropped today, that's probably not in my future.

Agreed! That artist rendering is just terrible and clearly doesn't understand Mustangs. For instance the tail lights are all wrong.

I think some people are reading "Model E" as "Mach E."
Remember, Ford's EV division is "Model e."
This is a Ford "Model e" 3-row SUV.
It's not a Mustang Mach-E 3-row SUV.

A little off topic, but can we stop naming all EV with -e. Kind of annoying, like when the iPhone came out. Everything was i-this or i-that. For goodness sake, have some originality.
