It’s a customer satisfaction program not a recall that’s why it doesn’t show up on Ford’s website. Customers will not be notified. If you’re sure your car was built in May, then it should apply to you, call your dealer.
Actually, I was referring to the panoramic roof and windshield recalls that don’t show up, not the calibration update.

So I have a question about the Job 1 build dates and this update. My IB Premium was built in late May, but sat on chip hold until the very end of June. I figured it would be eligible for the windshield/roof recalls, but that’s not the case. Ford’s website says there’s no recalls for my car. So I’m assuming it won’t be eligible for this update as well. Any advice on how to get a dealer to apply the calibration update (short of just paying for the labor myself)?
Your build date is on the door jamb. If it's before 6/19/21, call the dealer and schedule it.

I did the update in one session and had no problems. I use a Mongoose Plus Ford.

I noticed the displayed SOC dropped around 3% after doing the updates. I will check later to see if it was due to current draw from the battery or a change in capacity. I have graphs of displayed SOC versus SOC versus Estimated Energy to Empty.

I noticed FDRS updated both RFA (BLEM) strategies (firmware) even though I got them during the previous PAAK update at the dealer. PIDs F188 and F120 show the strategy part numbers. The only real update was the ECU Configuration. Even so, FDRS reflashed the strategy files to the same version.

I also notice another assembly part number at PID DA01 that changes when the module is updated. Forscan only reports PID F113 as the part number. I assume F113 represents the factory assembly part number.

I also noticed the prefix of the BECM strategy changed from LJ98 to NJ98 with the update last month. I suspect it is reflecting platform changes for the 2022 MY. It will be interesting to see what the BECM assembly part number is for the 2022 MME.

I am keeping track of the versions (part numbers) of the modules in my car because I can! My MME is ER RWD so the part numbers could be different on other MMEs.

How long did your update run? Just spoke with my dealer and they are on hour 2 of the update running. No errors just still going 13 modules to update. Hope it ends well...

Well it just finished but now TPMS errors... go figure.

Guys, I performed the update and in happy to announce that the charging cliff at 80% for DCFC has been improved! Between 28-30kW! Screenshot of EA station and Car Scanner stats.

Edit: the battery may have been cold gating. Power going in has increased to 40kW, battery temp is 66F now.
If what you say is true this is a very exciting time. Feeling better I toke the red pill now.

We are tripping with 100% to play with. ?

Any here confirm?

Is anyone by chance able to look up vins? I just took my Mach E into the dealer on November 10th for updates since I was not getting anything OTA. Now I am wondering if I am out of date again with this new update that was released.

Yes, these customer service updates are newer. I had my vehicle updated on Nov 12th.

Now checking FRDS has shown that newer updates are available (customer service updates).

Hard to keep up with so many moving parts. Should settle now to determine stability at one point you would think.

Have a recall for glass for no noticeable reason but now it is worth going in to have this done. 100% DCFC gives us the vehicle we bought. Really big news and worth some PR to put the word out if true, repeatable and consistent. Takes a bit of stress off traveling this time of the year to have that flexibility. Last trip confined to 80% coming next week I hope then clear sailing in the new year. Hoping to see Kyle clear this up and remove the stigma soon.

We can. I am not sure what the rumor is about. The update notes say overall quicker times for DC fast charging. More area under the curve is what that means.

True story :). They drove it this am and error went away... I would of thought they knew that. Oh well. Now to plan for 2-3days with out her for the recall on the roof and windshield.

TPMS errors will disappear after a short drive. Happens when the BCM is updated

Have you DCFC to date what do you get? Mine drops to 11 KW as soon as I hit 80%.

This Post rumor? No confirmation to date but this sure does note it.

Guess you can DCFC from 80 to 100% right now if you have the 2 plus hours to sit there and do it. I would say you can not. No tin foil paranoia here looking to get this update to confirm. Scheduled now to happen with the recall.
