The efficiency or range have nothing to do with why I'm looking to upgrade from the ID.4. It's just a boring car to be honest. Nothing wrong with it per se... Although, if I'm going to actually upgrade to something, I would like it to have more range. I probably get around 225 on a full charge right now in the ID.4. That's more than fine for my normal driving but if I want to go some other places in SoCal, having the extra 45-50 mile range would make a difference between me needing to charge to 100% before leaving the house or having to stop and charge on the way home potentially. Day to day I only drive about 50 miles and charge at home so its a non issue. The Id.4 is just not super efficient once you go past 65 mph. I see people in all these range tests complain about ONLY 3.3-3.5 mi/kWh and here I am getting like 2.5 all the time..lolDoes this have a big impact? Is it the electric bill? I'd think if you are buying a 50k car then what is the scope of the extra electricity costs? Or do you drive 250 miles a day and this becomes a deal breaker? Just trying to understand how this becomes an impact to people in this situation.
